I find it most interesting they've packaged him like a traditional action figure. I've long been saying MBs are the best value for AFs on the shelves these days and it looks like they're gonna put that idea to the test.

Dammit, somebody owes me a royalty fee!

Indeed they are. I was just having a conversation about this specific topic ( action figure ``value``). To date i`ve only purchased Mega Bloks troop packs as i thought they were a good value at $12 to $20 per pack of 4 to 5 figures with weapons and a diorama build piece. I've bought PLENTY of troop packs. $5.99 to $9.99 USD for a single figure makes me pause though (especially due to the exchange rate). That`s 1:18th scale prices for a figure 1/2 the size. If the new TMNT Rocksteady figure that has parts that you can swap out to turn him into his pre mutation human form has flesh tone muscle arms to go along with the human head i'll spend $10 on that only . That will officially be the first muscle body in human form so it's worth it . Otherwise i don't know how i can say $10 for a 1:18th figure is too expensive but the same amount for a smaller figure isn't.

$5.99 for the enforcer, jet pack fgure or a TMNT single isn't bad though. More than that and it becomes questionable for me.

Slightly off topic but the last time i looked into it i reported that Mega (Mattel now) was going to release updated Power Rangers figures tocoincide with the movie release. Have any of you heard any news regarding that?

But I am! I can't very well buy the stuff without the money I make from this place

Got home and wound up grinding in preparation for the Heroic Raid tonight. Sorry for the delay!

Mega Construx?
When did this happened?
Does this mean we'll see the return of the yellow astronaut figures vs purple aliens?

Not mine. I stole that post from the Fwoosh thread. I think MicS said he found them at TRU, and MB said the adult lines would be under the Construx banner from now on. I'm not sure I'm a fan of that idea as it gives retailers the means to discern, and thus discriminate, between different markets; which almost always comes to our disadvantage.

Maybe a straight side-by-side of the li'l guy next to the big'un would've helped. I've been seeing the big'uns as Brute-sized.

That was admittedly my fault. I forgot that the Sparrows call attention away from the actual size, and doing a side by side comparison with the Titan would muddle the scale too due to the exotic helmet almost being 2 heads tall itself. For the solution, I put the Phalanx shield next to the Warlock as a frame of reference of Cabals true size (which the Brutes WISH they could be). This is more akin to a Covenant Hunter in scale, and it's actually bigger than the Fallen Captains released so far, whose height is merely a byproduct of their ornate helmets.

Edit: it helps to include the pic, lol

Yeah screw it . I'm all in. At one point I had a very large collection of Dragons Universe which were and are great toys. They only lacked the articulation of the modern mega bloks / mega Construx figures . I'm not going to wait until years down the road to start picking these up like I did with Dragons Univers even though I don't know much about the Destiny game. They are just nice stand alone toys period . A figure, vehicle and a giant baddie with a shield ? Come on... that's toy perfection in a package .

AV does Ash Talon have a brute head he can swap onto the big guy?

It's a different guy than Ash Talon, a relative Fwoosh newbie MicSounders; but I'll ask him.

1. Holy Mackenzie, that new Destiny buck is awesome! Had no idea they were even coming out! Yeah... gonna need an army of those for customs...

2. Quick repaint of the Gamestop single-carded CoD figure:

Loved the little dude's design so much that I wanted to keep it intact, just in a colorway that's been haunting my brain until the right figure came along... had so much fun that I was thinking of working on a few more.

For the moment, he's intended for a project I've been working on for the past few months. Almost ready for its debut!

I like that ^
It reminds me of that Marvel villain character that has a flat screen TV on his chest with a face in it .

Thank you dude!

Arnim Zola, eh? Cool! He's a sorta Megabloks version of this LEGO deep sea diver seen here:

Been wanting to make something in this colorway for months, then finally had the right base with Reyes.
