I guess it was only a matter of time for Sideshow to make a new figure of the silent commando for their 1/6 line.

Glad they went with the V1 look and I hope he still packs his classic Uzi.

When I spoke to one of the designers at SDCC last year he mentioned a possible new version of Snake-eyes. I'm glad they ditched the cloth mask and went with a sculpted one. As awesome as the first Sideshow Snake-eyes is that cloth mask just doesn't work.

Oh and this one comes with Timber. I'd expect the price to be in the $180 range so this won't be cheap. But I'm in for one.

Full photo gallery on the 13th. I won't be getting it but I'll be drooling over it.

I'll get this one. The first one looks so skinny now, so I'll gladly replace him.

Yeah, the figure looks nice and most have, but the price is just something you can only dip into every so often if at all. Unless you don't collect too many other things.

Thanks to GeneralsJoes.com for the heads up. Sideshow just opened the gallery and WOW! Even Timber has an alternate head.

I like Timber and wouldn't mind having the wolf by it's self. I'm not into that Snake Eyes. I have Hasbro version I like well enough. I guess it's that sweater he's wearing.

Wow, he even comes with the V2 head!!
The V1 head looks a bit small and the sweater looks a bit puffy.

This is one tempting figure!

The V1 head looks...weird. And holy cow 200 dollars.

SOLD! Like there was any question as to whether or not I'd get this. I'm kinda debating if I want to get the exclusive with the alternate Timber head or not. I'm leaning towards getting it since the regular version is the same price.

That costume does look "pieced together off things you'd buy separate on eBay" when I'd expect "tailor made". I've seen many customs that were far better than this.

After having bought their Cobra Commander on the cheap I'm not sure of I'd buy any more of their figures. I seem to pull the left forearm off more often than the hand when trying to switch hands, and the plastic used for the accessories is a bit cheap(I have a crack in the belt which risks breaking totally and rendering the belt unable to function... that is an unacceptable level of quality). I hesitate to even try to adjust the clothes again for fear of breaking the belt through its intended functionality.

While I have never been a fan of Sideshow's collectibles, I think this really is their worst offering in the G.I. Joe License. From the small head to the ill-fitting clothes, there is nothing outside of timber that makes this worth the price. I am actually fairly surprised that some approve the look of this figure. But, to each his own.

I completely agree with Tex. For the price this just doesn't look worth it. The heads in particular are off. but the clothes look really baggy. which is a surprise since that is one of the better parts of the rest of their offerings. Timber is awesome. but other than that I think I could make one I'd prefer cheaper.

Personally, I feel the Sideshow stuff is really "worth" $50-$60, maybe 475 for the top-tier offerings, which is about the range they were when they came out(may have been a bit higher, but certainly nowhere near the $120 and up they charge now). Not to mention that Hasbro could make quality 12" figures if they only wanted to, and this is their property, so why are they not making these toys? But Hasbro is content to stick with those inferior bodies from the late 90s, which aren't even modular(the average body now supports easy swapping of hands and heads, if not feet and limbs) and certainly less poseable than much anything made by other companies. After seeing the 25th and ROC 12" stuff they made, I have to wonder if handing off to Sideshow wasn't for the best, if that was the best Hasbro was willing to do.

At least Hasbro isn't insisting on using those early 90s HOF bodies anymore. Those things were hideous, not to mention wildly inferior to even the 60s G.I. Joe body.

After having HT figures and sideshow figures, Sideshow has some issues to overcome in the quality of the materials use. Sideshow figures feel cheap, compared to Hot Toys.

I've gotten the Iron Man MKII , MKV and War Machine.
I bought the the star wars Captain Rex, and the quality was much lower.
If its gonna be 200$, it needs to be HT quality.
