Nate Darwin grew up on the rough streets of downtown Sioux City. By a small miricle, he managed to graduate high school, thanks fully to the help of his best freind and tutor Howard Sullivan, earning themselves both scolarships from the Cobra Corperate education fund. He enlisted in the Cobra military in 2169, after his college graduation, and was assigned to the 283rd Hellfire Batallion of the Vulcan infantry corp. In 2175 the 283rd was called upon in the attempted Invasion of Asia, confronted only with a smaller contingent of Japanitronix soldiers. 15,000 Vulcan soldiers where either killed or missing before Cobra gave the order to retreat 5 days later, the 283rd was ordered to cover the collective retreat, out of the 25 members of his platoon he was the only member of to make it out alive. For his inherent Valor, Nate was promoted to the rank of luitennant for the Hellfire platoon. But in 2189 the Stormtroopers where introduced as the new basic infantry, and the Vulcans where re-assigned in Sector A, a large area that was once called South America. Is equipped with standard Vulcan Command armor. Proficiant in the use of all Vulcan-issued weapons, including M-950 "Hellblazer" gatling rifle.
