Cobra will
stop at nowhere in their recruitment tactics. Tapping an untold number
of resources is what CobraCorps specializes in, and when it comes to
getting new members, location does not stop them. Spreading their reach
into the “Badlands” of North America, a barren, radioactive wasteland
home to who knows what kind of people and creatures. There are mutants
abound, disfigured humans, lost to the world around them and willing
to do anything to fit into “normal” humanity. Perfect for Cobra Corps’
uses.
Silence was born horribly disfigured due to the radiation in the air
in the Badlands. His face was twisted and gnarled, his mouth closed
by a ragged scar. He survived off of injections for most of his life,
helped along by another young man who was also a victim of the radiation.
They worked together, using each other to survive. Soon, Cobra Corps
arrived in their little makeshift village, and their lives changed.
The day that CobraCorps came into his life was the best day of Silence’s
life. The large, hulking brute of a man with the twisted face was abused
his entire life, and he was being given the chance to fight back. Cobra
gave him a limited amount of reconstructive surgery, so that his face
wasn’t quite so disfigured. His endoskeleton enhances his already almost
inhuman strength, even though constant nutrients are required for him
to live. Cobra has made him more of a machine than the other two, his
life fully dependant on the technology inside his body to even live.
Yet, this internal frailty is completely erased by his exterior strength,
a large, muscular man with devastating power at his fingertips.
From the files of Redwolf: “The white phantom of the night…a silent,
vicious warrior trained to attack and kill at a moment’s notice. His
sole purpose in life is to kill and do his master’s bidding, despite
the danger to himself. Exactly how do we fight something like that?”
