While I INTENSELY dislike Master Collector and have no desire to see them get an exclusive Mauler, I can understand why they didn't fix it the mold.
For all their bluster, Master Collector is a small company that only has so much capital available. Paying for a new turret tooling would have probably bankrupted them and at the very least would have caused a great increase in price of future stuff to make the money back.
No, selling it before they had it in hand was the stupid move, not refusing to fix the mold once it broke.
