Ok this one was definantly a work of art. I started this last night and finally finished painting it today, was a bit more involved than most of my customs. It`s definantly challenging to take several parts that were never meant to work together and make them fit right, while maintaining and adding articulation that was never meant to be. This one is a mesh of several SW and Joe parts. I added some WIP pics to show how this was made and to help identify the parts used. I went with a new look for her to avoid doing the usual done to death look of the original. I feel this still captures the essense of Cover Girl and the mesh of parts makes her much more feminine and fliud than the official release figures. Hope you all enjoy!

Action Pose to show articulation was maintained:

Parts:
Head- JVC Scarlett
Hair and boots- Comic Pack Cover Girl
Torso and arms- SW Bultar Swan
Left hand and waist- SW Aayla Secura
Legs- 25th Stalker
Feet- 25th Lady Jaye

By the way, the 25th Comic Packs were on clearance at my Walmart for $7 each. Don`t think it`s nationwide though but might be worth checking!

Nicely done...A very cool take on her...

Not a fan of the bare mid-rif...not sure it really makes sense for a military-themed figure. I rather see it be a skin tight mid-rif uniform with some added armor plates or somthing on the chest.

Each his own I guess, many Joes wear uniforms that don`t make alot of sense anyways. Besides, I figure an ex-model would want to show something off for the boys every now and then for "morale" :-D purposes. I went with this new look because she can`t always go with a jacket, too hot most places to be worn all the time.

I always saw the Joes more as Special Agents anyways (more like they were in the beginning of DD's run) and so her dress code would bel looser than servicepersons.
