actually, there is a buch of us.

So far we've nailed down Burnout, Torch, Buzzer, and Zarana. we do need a Ripper, Zartan, Monkeywrench, and Thrasher...

Hung around anime fans before so I'd hurt anyone that ever accused me of cos-play. You think grown people who collect toys are odd, we seem down right normal compared to cos-players.

But yes I do have a Cobra trooper costume that I dust off for cons.

Really a great way to meet other GI Joe fans. People just start coming up to you and talking about their favorate character, how they are excited the upcoming movie, or now that you the expert they ask you about where they can get a toy they would love to have again as an adult. Also helps to keep you from looking like a dirty old man when you are getting your picture taken with the cute girl dressed as the Baroness.

There is a group out in Texas that are pretty big into it but Dragon Con is always so crazy I keep forgetting the groups name. But yea we joke about the dream of one day having more Cobras than Storm Troopers so Cobra can take over the con.

I figured while I had my photobucket album up I'll throw a shot from Halloween up. I still need to make another helmet. That was my goal after wearing this one. lot of this costume was last minute. I couldn't find pants and a shirt that perfectly matched and I ended up comprimising. I was going to hand make a helmet but I never got around to that either so I got a real Russian helmet and customized it. I now have that Swiss helmet a lot of people like to use for Cobra troopers and will be working what that.
