I keep dreaming of that tank with the top removable so you could reenact the fight Henry and Marcus have inside "the belly of the steel beast"... With a driver figure and dopey grinning periscope guy... with movable treads to reenact face grinding Indy... and an action feature that simultaneously splits open the barrel of one of the side cannons, and ejects the gunner from his seat...

To me, this would be a far more fun playset than that big ol' flying wing. ;)

This is why I find it is good policy not to imagine these things... The eventual reality so rarely lives up to the way I would do it... (but is usually far more economical)

:D

I totally disagree. For me the tank would be neat, but it's no Flying Wing. :-D
But. . . twist my arm to see them both produced.

If they were smart they could very easily make this a crossover product

IJ flying wing

IJ Flying wing with wheels relaced with skids, props replaced with rocket engines, a futuristic laser in the turret and differnt wingtips, different paint job and call it a Naboo light cruiser, EU clone bomber, Smugglers blokcade runner...or something on those lines, maybe even tie in a 4 page comic.

with just a half dozen interchangelable parts on a base fuesalage, they could get some great money from two lines.

Dark Horse told me about it- in one of the Hasbro Q and A posts. I didn't actually read it for myself. But Marcus telling me about it is good enough for me.

The worst part is, movie wise, the plane doesn't do a darn thing but blow up! Sure it looks cool, but what kid wants to play with a plane that rotates, then explodes?

The same people who are sluts for Boba Fett and other Star Wars characters who basically are just on screen and don't really do anything.

I agree that it's a lame idea and yeah, all it does is gets turned on and rolls around before blowing up.

It also chops up a burly German... So it doesn't just spin around & explode. ;)
