Hey guys --

Didn't see this mentioned anywhere else. I was hunting for the new comic packs today and came across a dark gray, almost black "transforming" Batman Attack Coupe today. I just bought the damn silver one barely a week ago, and now this way awesomer deco pattern comes out. Dont know how the distro is on these -- they were all at one store in Lakewood, WA. I picked one up, because I really like the car and needed another Batman head. I figure I can gut this one and try to make it a 2-seater proper Batmobile and still use the silver one for Matt Tracker.

Anyway, here's a crappy pic (because Razr cameras suck.)




For some reason, the color change makes a frickin' world of difference on this baby. I loved the silver one, but this one is even cooler and more Batty, IMO.

Anyway - has anyone else seen these in this shade?

The silver one is the only one I've seen in the production photos, previews & whatnot (it's on the back of the box for the black one as well.)

I had always figured that the silver one was the variant. All the walmarts, TRU's, and targets around here only have the black one in stock. Other than your pic i hadn't seen another silver one.

All I've ever seen around here was the silver one and planned on passing on it. If I come across that black one I may pick it up.

I saw the silver one at Wal-Mart, and that's the only one I've seen.

I kinda like the black one as is, but the silver would be easier to repaint methinks.

Must be a Midwest thing, then. Here in MO, all we have is the black one as well. It would be interesting to see the distribution patterns for these.

Well, every store in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area has the black one. I never even knew it existed, since all I saw in Colorado were silver ones and silver was the color on the back of the box and in the TNI preview pics.

I've been playing with the black one in my hotel room all week -- I'm sure the neighbors are getting tired of my "vrooom" "whooosh" "pew pew pew" sound effects by now
