Why do you need to clear a vehicle? are you having problems with paint rubs?

I clear coat all my vehicles with a matte finish because it gives the paint a production plastic look instead of the paint look.
Here is the clear coat I use on mine, just make sure you dont put too thick of a coat on.

I use Testor's Dullcote for all of my customs, figures and vehicles alike :)

yes the paint does come off in time so in need to clear coat them and thanks all of you for the help

Good point the first time I used it on an action figure I put to heavy a coat on and I cought hell trying to put it back to gether.
