Hey everyone,

Here's the link to a video clip made by a fellow Frenchman - I've found this link on a French GI Joe forum.

This clip is a fan clip made for the Zombie Zombie band. The clip itself was produced by Simon Gesrel and Xavier Ehretsmann with their favorite line of toys. It's a tribute to John Carpenter's "The Thing".

I think it's an amazing piece of art, but I'll let you judge for yourselves:

Please keep in mind that I was by no means involved in this, so I'm only showing respect to this fantastic piece of work. The only thing I can only be remotely related to is prodiving them with the Snowjob action figure... unfortunately I don't think that would qualify for an appearance in the credits :shifty:

Anyway, I hope you like it!

Catchy tune, good (almost eerie in the movements) animation, nicely laid out, neat effects, it actually had "feeling" to it that can be hard to capture in animated flicks--plays very well into the imagination.--cool video overall! (Added it to my Favorites list.) :-D

I take it Zombie Zombie is a techno-style band? That's how the music came across to me.

Yes apparently Zombie Zombie is a techno-style band. I've listened to a couple of their tunes on MySpace, they're of the same style.

I really like the work they've put into this video, it took them 6 months to produce. I love the details on the props and dio accessories, like the tags with the year of every ice sample on the side of the shelves. I'll have to see if I can ask how they built everything. It probably cost a fortune in distinct materials too.

That was a lot of fun to watch. Two critiques: 1- lack of dialogue, and 2- way too short. I would have loved to have seen more (though what was done was great).

I agree it was too short (although already 6mn long!) and I would have loved to see more. The level of detail put in this is amazing!

However regarding the lack of dialogue, I'm not too sure - since it's supposed to be a video clip, I guess they could have inserted dialogues on a turned-down music theme. I like it as it is though.

When I think of all the dios that could be made out of their accessories...

That was beautiful. Amazing what space and a budget can do for you.

Hey Jedsoon, looks like Large Army made more of an impact than you imagined. ;-)

That's really taking it to the next level! I was really impressed with the effects.
