Well, I got this figure off of eBay since I haven't seen the figures yet. Upon inspection, I realized that CC's head was too small, and his legs were too long. With a few changes, I give you my Cobra Commander:

Here are the parts:
Head: Cobra Commander 07
Torso: Cobra Commander 07
Arms: Cobra Commander 07
Legs: Cobra Commander 07 (1/4" removed from the bottom of the leg)
Gun Belt: Razor Claw 04 (modified w/ holster from Destro 03)
Gun: Cobra Commander 07
Megatron: Marauder Inc.
Helmet: Cobra Commander 83 (casted by Mastermind- modified)
Hood: Cobra Commander 05 (casted by Mastergunzz- modified w/ eyes from Han Solo)

As always, let me know what you think!!

Yeah, that's perfect, Chad. I need to get me a helmet and do the same thing. I gave away my Battle-Pack CC because of the pea-head and gangly legs (and the light blue doesn't really do it for me.) I'm planning on doing this to the single-pack CC if I can ever find it. Love the Megatron idea.

How tough were the legs to fix? Did you just chop the ends off and drill new foot pegs?

Looks really great!

I might be able to hook you up w/ a cast head if you want, though it would need some work.

Exactly. I need to post a picture of the cut off piece with a ruler. I cut one leg until I liked the length (measured the height w/ a RAH figure), then cut the other to match. Drilled the holes a little further. Perfect.

PERFECT. I would have chosen a different hood (I HATE that hood) but other than that I can't find any fault. Did you modify the waist at all for better range of movement?

I think I'm in love :)

It fit right (w/o mods), and adding some eyes behind it, I just rolled w/ it :)

Nope. For my purposes, he will be fine. Anyway, the gun holster will mess things up when he sits down anyway.

Chad, really like the tweaks on him. How does he compare side by side with some of the others like Destro?

That size difference has always be a thing for me. I felt that Commander had the Napolean syndrome or somesuch.

Nicely done. Too bad you couldn't carry over the removable upper helmet deal, though.

I love that hood, so it completely works for me. I love the leg shortening, though I never would have figured out that it was the other big problem with the sculpt. The biggest problem was the diaper bulk to the waist, and the gun belt helps disguise it.

Very impressive - And the Megatron is a nice touch as well...

I don't know, I haven't found the figures yet. Had to go to eBay just for this one :(

I know that feeling. Cant find them in Central TN either. Was hoping you were having better luck. If you get a comparison, show us... Please?

It looks great! These guys seem really easy to modify to make shorter or fix the waist, is that true? Just some dremeling and sanding?
