For the neck ball, what I did for my Batman & Moonknight (both using MLS necks) - First I cut the base of the head down back below the jawline so that it was more in line with the MLS necks, then I used the Dremel to make a bigger opening at the base of the head (including right behind the jawline) so that the neck would fit with the head properly. Then I Dremeled out the hole for the peg that holds the head to the neck and used a drop of superglue at the top of the peg where it attaches to the head and they have all the range of motion as the other MLS figures.

You'll definitely want to practice on a couple of fodder heads first, unless you're a Master Dremeler
