I know I took one look at the new Star Wars Cade Skywalker figure and knew his coat and arms needed to be turned into a cowboy custom. Add a bit of 25th Wild Bill, and maybe some Shipwreck legs, bit of paint, and voila, a nice cowboy who leans a bit on the fantasy side.

And those DC Infinities figures are basically only good for their headsculpts, which can be married to the new Marvel line.

So, anyone else getting any ideas?

like most of us, i'm impatiently awaiting the list & photos of marvel's 1:18 so i can check it off against my to-do list...

:-P

From what I've seen (some of the sites are giving me fits about loading their images) I'm getting ideas. Of the DC figures the Wonder Woman gives me ideas for potential female barbarians; Star Wars, as always, helps add elements to my growing fantasy customs as well as my TEF sci-fi universe. The Hellboy stuff I dare not even look at--simply because I don't expect it to ever get to my area (it's cool, which means the likelihood of seeing here is pretty weak).

That Wonder Woman is 6in tall. The Cyborg and Wondy pictured there are part of the DCUC line, not Infinite Justice or whatever it's called.

Then she'll be ideal alongside my Giant, Crolar (made from a Kal-El from "Superman Returns") for my Thera universe. :-) Much better than the Dana Scully I was thinking of using for his sister...

Seeing Clutch and actually liking it forced me to cross him off my "to-do" list. Other than that, nothing really jumps out at me.

Well maybe the clear orange parts of SE could be used for a Human Torch custom but that's not something I'd pursue myself. Just throwing that idea out there for someone to use.

Hey Doc Rob (and everyone else)

over on the toybuzz at rtm, someone resized the DC Infinities pics and put them in one image.

http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/643/smallersizedbz7.jpg

now you don't have to look at wizard's full size pics shrunk down, pretending to be thumbnails.
Crashed my browser a few times until i found this.

I've got an easy red skull.....a new crossbones.....deadpool.....couple of other things i'm thinkin up now....

I hope the DC 3 3/4 figures have ball hips.....a simple t crotch would just suck....doesn't have to be a true ball joint....but i'd just love that degree of movement. Not all of them even have articulation so I wonder if its a possibility.

couple of those Indiana Jones figures look like good fodder pieces (namely the german officers)....

can't wait to see what superheroes hasbro offers in 3 3/4...

I think some of the ones without articulation, will end up with articulation, even if its just the simple style.

The biggest customizing idea I pulled from Toy Fair....the German and Russian Soldiers from the Indiana Jones line will be GREAT base bodies for New Republic Soldiers!

That is Bane Maler, a bounty hunter in Jabba's employ whose only claim to fame is that he is the guy pushed down the stairs into Jabbas throne room when Leia (desguised as a bounty hunter herself) enters with Chewbacca on a chain.
