Dude, you do sound like a prick. What has gotten into you lately!? First of all midget IS the appropriate term, so the only person could be offended is ignorant overly sensitive PC idiots. And that comes from the child of a MIDGET mother! Don't know what's gotten up your butt, but we have an entire midget song dedicated to one of our own midget JC members currently posted in another thread! We constantly make gay jokes about one another, etc etc. and have a running gay joke we dedicate a day of the year to. Not much PC going on around here. There is a very close knit community here, you've been around here, you're supposed to be a part of it. Why are you ripping on the newbie? Lets leave the moderating up to the moderators.

Actually, my exact statement was "You're much wittier on the boards', to which you replied 'I've always been a better writer than speaker'. I must admit, you do seem like two different people in person, and on the board. Ass!

Getting back on topic.
I suggest using an exosquad figure, they're very proportional for a "midget". You can even articulate the waist and add a crotch piece with little modding.
For an example check out my Puck custom in the NJC group 2007 thread.

All I was stating was the word midget when referring to a person of short stature or dwarfism is derogatory. It's just like calling a black person "you know what". It's not right in a public forum, PC or other wise. I was not referring to the definition or anything like that, as a word that mean something in the dictionary that can mean something else entirely when said out of context. I can say for a fact, as I have some friends with dwarfism and they don't even like the word used around them.

As with how you treat your mother, that just shows your immaturity and no respect for others, so I'm going to walk away from this one.

Sorry to the moderators, as I just thought I should clarify what I was trying to say and not try and start anything here.

i used a dremel saw (looks like a circular saw blade) to cut down the calves, cut out the thigh screws, and cut down the forearms of shippy...

I'm still not sure you're 100% correct about 'midget' being a derogatory term equatable with the infamous N-word. I'd think it's more equatable with 'boy', where it's entirely all about context and tone of voice. That word is obviously perfectly okay for everyday use, just don't use it in reference to an adult black dude or you're asking to lose some teeth.

And again, it's perfectly understandable that your dwarf friends wouldn't like being called midgets, because they aren't midgets. But that's not proof that 'midget' is a verboten word that nobody should ever use at all in any context.

Well, if you want to see if you keep your teeth after calling a dwarf/little person that, be my guest. They can and almost always will surprise you with what they can do ;-)

Again yes, it's all in how the word is used, but when typed you can't always express the term you are trying to get across. Just like the N-word as different meanings, but if typed can offend someone really fast. In this case there are so many better terms than what was used, like little person or dwarf. It's just a sign of respect to others, as you and I would not throw around the N-word or any other such word that could be taken the wrong way. We all have to remember there are more than just ourself in this forum. I bet there are even a few young teens (16 and under) here, and us older guys/gals should be showing them a better example.

Anyway to get back on topic, I thought of a few ideas on what you could use. Mask figures for one. There was this Tonka line that had some small stature figures in it. They came with some vehicles that had action features, almost like Mask in a way. Also Constructs (80s building type toys) had some small figures that may work. Lincoln Logs have some figures too, that are on the small side.
