They are making their initial announcement to their paying membership. Unfortunately, they have chosen to do this thru the snail mail newsletter, rather than a direct email followed up by details in the newsletter. They will make a general announcement for all after they've judged that most of their members have received the newsletter.

So 6 weeks from now? :roll:

I'm about 85% out for this year. My sister decided about 8 months ago to get married during that weekend. I've already cussed her for it. ONLY way I could go would be do Thurs-Fri afternoon and then fly back. I'll have to see if it is even feasible. :-/

I can assist in getting the marriage license for Dallas/Tarrant and surrounding counties. Like was mentioned before...have the wedding at the Con! Instead of rice/bird seed to throw, we'd throw fodder :-P

Any word on the theme so we can start guessing on figs and paintjobs and vehicles and junk?

I'm guessing that since it's in Dallas they'll have to go with some dumbass western theme and give us a set centered around Wild Bill, probably in his Battle Corps uniform.

Yeah because when I think Atlanta I think winter camo and mountain storehouses :roll:

And I'd be all for a Wild Bill in the con set. That would be a major factor in my decision to go.

Yeah, I'm not sure why people keep thinking that the Con sets tie into the "theme" of the location...the only set that did that was the Orlando Con and the Dreadheads. Every other set has had nothing to do whatsoever with the Con locale.

Anyone know if we are guaranteed to get ARAH style figures in the con sets? I need my ARAH fix and they did such an awesome job last year I'm hoping to see more.

YES. Definitely sticking with the RAH theme for the Con sets.

maybe will cobra coyotes set. taking advantage of the peoples of Mexico,and a modern interpretation of Zorro to join the team and save the day.

They can use the same head as they did the dreadnok cousins. And I can save even more money by not buying it.

The "battle" took place in the former Soviet Union, known for its cold temperatures. Honestly, I made the same association, even though the con took place in the summer.
