Hi all!

I've done some customizing in the past but usually just involved body part swapping and repainting. I've never done well with creating all new parts so that's why I'm hoping to enlist the help of somone here to customize a figure for me.

I'm interested in a 25th Anniversary Sgt. Slaughter similar to the customized one that was shown at SDCC 2007. I've attached a pic for reference.

The body they used is from Roadblock while the head appears to be from Gung-Ho. IMO, I think the entire Gung-Ho figure would work. The major change, which may inolve the creating part, would be the removal of the cap and replacing with a proper Sergeant's hat.

I can supply the figure and any other parts necessary. Plus, I would be more than happy to compensate the creator for their troubles. If anyone can or knows someone who would like to take on the challenge, please pm me.

Thx in advance!

I've never owned any 25th figs yet. But, I hope to do so when the Vipers come out.

The top portions must be Roadblock's torso or Gund Ho's.
The hat must be from a Battle Corps Wild Bill, only put on backwards.

Hope that's helpful. :-)

I believe that Darth is asking to commission someone to do the work not to ID parts. From what I'm reading he'll provide the parts if someone would be willing to make and paint the figure for him.

Charles I don't work in 25ths, but there isn't much to this that you couldn't do yourself. The only hard part would be the USA on his chest. You have all the parts. All you need is green, black and red paint, the hat, and the usa decals.
Use the Gung ho body, paint on the tank top paint the legs and your done.
I don't think there is more than a half an hours work on the whole thing.

I don't think your getting any bites cause no one really knows you yet.
Pm a couple of the people whos work you like and go from there.
Mentioning that you have most of the goodies their looking for wouldn't hurt either ;-) ie.. SW 2 packs, Joe 2 packs, singles, the 50 bilgillion clones and SW fodder figs.

What the heck? I'll give it a shot. Should I use some type of super sculpey for the sunglasses or do you have a better suggestion.

I'll also give your other suggestions a try. ;-)

Thx!

I'd go with a Coil Crusher head modded to fit the 25th neck.

Try to PM JFak on this board and see if he is still selling his sunglasses he had a while back. He had some casts of some sunglasses that I'd think might work.

alleyviperelite and roguetiger, thx for the suggestions. I'll send JFak a pm and hunt down a Coil Crusher as a backup.

That's a really good looking custom. I'm surprised at how well the Coil Crusher head works.
