Secret Communication
From: Lance "Clutch" Steinberg
To: Conrad "Duke" Hauser
"I got two questions for ya, Duke: How the hell did you find us, and what the hell took you so long? I can't believe you guys put up with those brass jerk-offs playing President for so long. Well, you know you always have a home with ol' Clutch and Cover Girl. To say that she's ready for battle is like saying Serpentor has a passing interest in snake decor. Which is something I want to talk to you about...Courtney, not Serpentor's snake fetish. She was in Washington during Serpentor's final attack. She watched Hawk, the president, and all the others die on the White House lawn. And then they captured her. She doesn't talk about those days...not even to me. I remember when I found her. She was being transfered across the country, to Alcatraz, where Cobra holds all the former Joe members they've nabbed. I 'persuaded' a Cobra patrol into revealing when her prison transport would be passing through. The rest, well, I don't feel I'm bragging too much when I say it was classic Clutch. I was on fire that day...ended up scrapping the Vamp, though, which was a crying shame. When I finally got to her cell in the transport, she didn't even recognize me. She clawed at me, like some kind of animal. After I coaxed her out of the cell...well, that's when it got ugly. See, there were these three guards that had tossed down weapons and thrown hands up the second I entered the holding area. I was just going to strip them of their equipment and send them wandering into the desert. But Courtney....before I could stop her, she grabbed one of their rifles and gunned all three of them down. And then she emptied the rest of the magazine into their bodies. Something change in her, Duke. She's not nearly as feral these days, of course, but sometimes when we run into a Cobra patrol...well, let's just say you don't want to be sending her on any mission that requires taking hostages."

(Clutch coming soon...)
I wanted a bit more hard-edged look for Cover Girl, so I based it partially on Keira Knightly from Domino. I still wanted to show some homage to the original figure, though. I'm just glad I could make the Aayla lower torso work. And it does, she still has full-range of movement.

Cover Girl:
Head: Starkiller Hero (modified to fit)
Upper Torso: Lady Jaye
Arms: Lady Jaye
Jacket: Covergirl v2
Lower Torso: Aayla Secura
Waist/legs: Lady Jaye
