I ordered some really cheap 5POA zombies off Amazon on a whim, and was initially pretty disappointed with what I got. But I had this feeling that under all that awful cheap paint job there was something worth salvaging. The nice thing about these is that the joints are easy to pop apart and reassemble, so I started mixing up some of the more basic parts and did my basic zombie paint job on them. For the price and little effort it took to fix them up, I think they'll make pretty great background zombies. I'll keep working the other parts to "flesh out" my horde. The zombie dog is from an older static zombie set that're mostly too small.

those look 100% better! is that 2 joined at the shoulders or just an optical illusion?

Optical illusion, the one of the far left has his arm reaching out, but I saw the same thing when I was working on the picture. Might be a fun one to actually make, though.

Looks great. I did a set of these a few years back. They really do suffer from crap paint but look 100 times better repainted

Right? Now I just want to see mulitple configurations of Zombies joined together. Heads popping out of arm sockets. A Master Blaster mounted zombie. 4 legged zombie. All sense of morality goes out the window when scinencing the undead. OMG, a wagon pulled by a hoarde of zombies with a brain dangling in front of them. The possibilities are endless. You have a lot of work to do, better get started.

I'd have to go with "Dead Last" for a zombie race track movie...
