Thanks! I appreciate hearing that. I get stalled out sometimes on projects.

I am not an expert on MOTU, but I believe "dark Orko" is referred to as "The Unnamed One" ( https://he-man.fandom.com/wiki/Unnamed_One )in MOTU canon. I don't think he has ever appeared in animation, but I know he got a figure in the 6" Classics line a few years back.

Awesome work as always on these figures. I cannot wait to see them finished.

thanks spec! i'm beyond my depth on all the motu origin stories and figures. i did see a reference to orko being one of many from that species and i think saw dark orko referenced in some blurb. i haven't researched or saw what they all look like though. i kind of like dark orko becoming "dorko" in my verse though.

great start on Batman. I don't mind a lean and mean look overall. I do wonder about the arms though. I can't recall if I ever tried the armored ROC Heavy Duty arms on the smaller armor torso or not, but I'm suddenly intrigued by how that might look. How are you planning the chest emblem?

I know on the batmobile thread you were checking out all types. Was this one RC? or diecast? or one that figures fit inside?

thanks for checking him out. i started with the se torsoe that is robin now. it has the right muscle suite look for 89. it's just too small. i'm considering sculpting muscle mass and the rubber cowl. for the emblem either from scratch or some kind of stud ear ring maybe.

this is the jada rc. no opening canopy. i haven't look under the shell to see if there is room to make a cockpit, but i probably won't anyway. with the dark window the cockpit would only be good for a pic or two.

good point on the windows. The scale of that one is great.

some of the multiverse batman figures had cowls you could boil and pop off to great effect. Also, nearly all of my emblems have been cut from vinyl (including electrical tape with adhesive removed). I used to just tape it to a printed template then cut freehand. Now I have my wife use one of her fancy crafting machines. lol

I would lean towards the retaliation snake eyes arms on that Batman. I think that will help with the look you are going for.

thanks guys!

bindy what is this magic crafting machine?

that's a good idea bucky. i think i have that torso w/upper arms but in grey. i'm not very good at popping torsos so it would be easier to sculpt details onto the existing arms.

Loving the MOTU customs. I've made some for my 80s customs too. Love the designs of yours. Really cool to see the development of them over the years.
