People have been finding Walmart’s Retro Joe wave 4 (Stalker and Cobra Trooper). Checked my local one yesterday while picking up graduation cards, nothing. Checked today while running an errand for my mother in law, lone Stalker just sitting on a random shelf.

Quick Review: Best Stalker ever and I really like the Tiger Force version. Bulkier top to bottom. Has the same range of motion as the FANG pilot, swivel thigh, swivel boot calf, rocker/hinge ankle. But seriously, that firing pose, without a stand? Flipping awesome!

pretty cool! where are his screws?....do the legs just boil and pop off? they have a similar look to fn legs in a very good way.

Stalker is the ... background lynchpin that keeps me tethered to the Joe IP. I played with Hit and Run , Roadblock and others more as a child but Stalker is the reason i'm still connected to GI Joe surprisingly. He's the Data to my ST: TNG . The show wouldn't be the same without him even if he isn't the star.

With that said ....i'm not sure what i'd do with Stalker. My instincts tell me to buy it if i see it but i don't have any other 1:18th figures for the most part.

He'd be a lonely modern age action figure.

Decisions.

I really like the character.

from the pictures I've seen you just pop them off at the hips like BFS figures

FYI apparently also has the same problem as the FANG pilot weak elbows be very careful and do not force them otherwise they will snap off

with so many people finding them I'm hoping I will find him too

The 10-year-old kid in me would have died to have a Stalker figure like this. I don't know what I'll do with him, but I'll definitely have to get one.

More like Marauder legs or even Fortnite. One of the legs popped out on mine just wiggling him around in front of the window on a 92 degree day.

I’d heard some horror stories when I opened him in the kitchen. But I didn’t have any of the stiffness in the joints others have talked about much less anything to the point of breakage.

Looking forward to getting this one...wish they had went this route for all of the "Retro" releases, but this is hopefully their plan going forward.

I didn’t have any of the stiffness issue with either him or the cobra trooper

Figured people would be interested in the construction. Just realized now that the knees are pinless. The only hard plastic piece is the hip area. The mid torso is soft plastic, but it wouldn’t pop off the waist so I didn’t force it. The neck is a barbell.

All in all I’m really excited if this is the future of Joes. Proportions are great and customizing will be fairly easy. He takes paint really well, too.

nice! looks like way better bits. i'm interested to see how the knees are held together. some kind of detent with bumps or? swivel @ hips and top of boots are nice. i hate the swivel feet without having the leg swivel, this looks to be best of both worlds.

I’m not sure what you mean about the knees. There’s no ratchet to them or anything, they’re just smooth. Must be however they do the new pinless stuff for the 6” figures.

it's hard for me to explain since i don' know the correct terms. no pin means they need to be assembled another way. maybe like some hand posts i have taken apart where the "ring" is split to snap around a cast in "pin". the detent thing i was trying to say like molded in "bumps" that hit the knee joint w/divots of some kind.

Were you able to just boil and pop the arms out?

I immediately heated mine up and started pulling it apart. Interesting to not have to crack a torso. Legs will take some getting used to. Didn’t try the arms though.
