1) would a big squeeze bulb be out of place?
2) There is no way in hell I’d be able to paint the bulb, is there?

Army painter primer would probably bite into that and hang on

So I could give it a good squeeze if I wanted it to shoot?

Squeeze bulb is going to definitely have a campier/sillier look, which isn't bad. Just pushes it over into the "this is supposed to be ridiculous" category, where as right now it's playing it pretty straight.

How rare are the original squirters from the AWE? Could you harvest the tubing from the original and just drill the swamp masher cannon, and insert the tubing? Seems like it would be a pretty simple transplant, but I have no idea how complicated the original awe squirter is.

Awe squirter is a plunger situation and isn’t quite wide enough to fit the gun mount on the masher. That was my original thought but I’m hoping to head into something new.

And it doesn’t bother me too much for it to edge in the campy line. Hell, they team has a squirting dolphin so there’s some level of acceptability there, but I don’t want to long jump over the campy line either.

Actually looked up the cannon and understand better.

The eco warrior figures came with water weapons too , looks like combining ozone and barbecues gear would give you a full yellow set. Don't know how well that would mount on the swamp masher, or how hard those colored parts are to come by.

It looks awesome so far, are planning on doing any decals?

Squeeze cannon certainly wouldn't be TOO silly for Eco Warriors, I agree. Just spit balling some ideas.

Oh, I was just about to suggest duct taping the dolphin to it. Nevermind then.

The World’s Smallest Super Soakers have a pump action squirter (yeah, I said what I said) that could work. You might even be able to use the hand grips as the mounting points.

Do you think a pump & squirt device would be out of line, jm70?

Left as it was. Decided I didn’t want to expend much more effort or money on tracking down something for it.
