A lot of good stuff here.

I hadn't thought about the COPS line in a long time. An updated take on that whole idea could be really interesting.

Had an idea to make the character seen only on the side of the '82 lunchbox. Got his name from a contest Red Laser ran- "Booster"! Almost all Marauder parts except for the Marvel Universe Falcon head, and the Star Wars helmet I painted and gave him.

Aaaaaand now I need a Booster! Don't think I was familiar with this guy, love how there are still some "hidden" characters like this out there. Great take on him, I normally think the swing helmet is too recognizable to work, but that looks great in green.

While making Booster, I was coming up with a background for the character and had a little brainstorm. My idea is that he's GIJoe's resident rocket scientist, and is the one who actually invented the JUMP pack. Now, I've been wanting to work on some Star Brigade customs, but never have liked the idea that Star Brigade made some "regular" Joes like Roadblock into astronauts. So, I decided to make this figure, but instead of Roadblock, he's an updated version of Booster, who's joined Star Brigade now.

Like I said, I've been on a little bit of a Star Brigade kick, so found this JoeCon Ozone on ebay for pretty cheap and decided to repaint him.

Still working through my C.O.P.S. characters, this is my version of Mace from that line. Cut up a Marauder rifle case and glued it to a bandoiler for his big shoulder pad.

After doing Kangor, I wanted to keep checking off some of the international characters. I had a set of Recoil gear from Raginspoon, but didn't want to just paint it green, because I felt that would be too much like Recoil. Used a Retaliation Shock Trooper and painted the gear grey to match.

Eventually I want to make a modern custom of all the characters from the original line that never got updates. Snowstorm never really got much character development, but I always thought he was a cool figure. Here's my version of him.

I've always thought the same- I've had that helmet for years, but never used it, because it looked to "Star Wars-y". I tried it on that head, and figured I'd see what it looked like painted up, and am pretty happy with how it turned out!
As far as the character, I'm sure he was meant to be Stalker in the artwork, but I figure he's different enough to turn into a new Joe.

Almost forgot I had one more ready to go- another "snow Joe" from the original line that never received a modern version- Cold Front

another big batch of great customs. i like the inspiration and build for booster, and then you updated him to new heights

pretty genius use of that gun case for a shoulder pad on mace !

Love all of these, but I think the cutting up of the rifle scabbard for shoulder armor on Mace is my favorite use of parts from all of them. That was great eye to make that work so well.

Finished up another round this past week. Knocking out a few characters from the end of the line- first up is '92 Duke. Pretty much all Marauder parts, this one wasn't too hard. Basically just made clipped out the grenades from a Retaliation Cobra Trooper and painted them up and glued them to his vest.

Next up is DEF Mutt. Also mostly Marauder parts, but did require a little painting.
