Also, get one of the li'l singlepack headbots with minivehicle for experimenting. They're $5-6USD Stateside, and I assume they should be significantly cheaper than $14 for you. The two I have don't have the metal pin through the headbot hips like the Wave 1 headbots did, though. So any cut you make to separate the boots will cause the legs to fall off entirely.

^ I'll keep an eye out for those . I didn't see anything TF related on local shelves except , eh, RID related mini bots.

I'm guessing I'm not the only one that mixes and matches parts from COD with Destiny to get some extra figures out of those armor packs.
While off work today for Halloween I hit a few Targets, Wal-Marts and Toys R Us's and found the two new armor packs and one of the new racing sparrows and have been having some fun part swapping. One issue I haven't resolved yet is what to do with the extra Titan armor pieces since they have those big boots. What have some of you done for that?

If you're swapping in different bodies to the Titan's upper arms piece, why wouldn't you keep the big boots for consistency's sake? I imagine he'd balance better, too.

I've only got the one Titan still, so I've not run into that problem, although I'm sure I'll give one of them an Elite's legs for a properly-freaky alien.

The boots are the problem with the Titans (and the blocky lower arms). I was wondering what others use for different boots that would balance with the larger armor pieces from the rest of the body.
with the Hunters and Warlocks I've used regular boots, Seal boots and Atlas boots and they blend in fine with the extra armor pieces that come in the armor packs. But the Titans don't seem to blend as well. It's not a huge deal as there is currently only one Titan armor pack but it would be nice to get that "extra" figure out of it like I do with the Hunters and Warlocks.
The Elite leg idea sounds interesting and like it would make a cool looking figure. I'm not sure it will work in my "universe" as the Destiny figures are cyber enhanced clones created by the Destiny Corp. for their war with the Ares Corp. exosuit enhanced soldiers.

Between work being busier, getting some structures done for a public display the Lego group I'm in did and getting everything set up for this year's CoD/Destiny Zombie Slaying Fest I've been out of the loop for a bit. Plus I didn't have much to contribute to the Headmasters conversation.

Any way to get a Destiny Fallen cheaper than in a Sparrow set? I have an idea for a custom and want to avoid needless expense and duplication.

I picked up the Destiny Cabal Interceptor craft at Target for $23 today, plus a pair of Covenant Brute 2packs at BOG40% at TRU today. I'll assemble the Interceptor shortly, but all five figures are keen. I *adore* the Destiny guy's Eaglehead hammer to a shameful degree.

Hit Ross today, looking for a TF Skylynx - no go, but they did have a ton of MB stuff for good prices. Are that were $30+ at original retail for $13-$18.

Picked up a few sets for customizing.

Edit: This includes getting the Walmart exclusive NMPD Warthog set for $10. I'd eyed this set a lot, for the three figures, but couldn't pay the price for it just for them. At $10, it was a no-brainer.

New Grunts? Isn't the latest body a couple years old, with the swivel waist and forearms? Or do you mean the Brutes? I picked up a pair of their 2packs on Friday and they're indeed neat.

Anyone tried out one of the American Girl figures? Aside from the lack of elbows and the brick-compatible hands, I'm curious about their usefulness with 18th adults.

The little dudes look pretty damn cool.

Pics? This is the first I've heard of them. I was hoping new Jackals would be after Brutes.
