Wow, I really like the clear blue with the bone armor.
Mine is already going to be the obvious Dr. Manhattan, but I may pick up another for something similar to that. Maybe even with the silver armor.


Also, the female skirt fits the male blank surprisingly well.

They're the Snake Lady's from the Ghosts 2pack. I might swap back to the red shield and sword due to their better design fit to the originals.

How vibrant is the color on the Spartan's armor?

It is orange, but it's pretty thin for orange. I'm not a big fan of GitD stuff and have already painted a lot of it over as fodder. Pretty much only his helmet is left pristine. I don't see any glow effect from the weapons, fwiw; just the figures and their clothing.

I should have my blanks this weekend. Then I can take some more pics.

Looking at goldbug's pic of the Amazon elite and the on Generals Joes' site I noticed that the chest armor is different. Gold's has an emblem on the chest while the other one doesn't.

Also notice the standard Amazons that I received had them as well but the pic on the boss fight store didn't. Did anyone get the amazons without the emblems?

Are there variant versions for these figures?

Yeah, there was a mix-up at the factory and there are variants for her. Emblem-less is supposed to be the intended version.

Huh - didn't even notice. My Kokomo Amazons had one of each, and my regular Amazon had the emblem while the Tartarus guard did not. Nice way to mix it up for Army building.



EDIT: Nevermind, that second Silver breastplate is from the Ringneck Gorgon, not the Kokomo Amazon. Both KKM figs were emblem-free.

Who's head is that?

For Bubo, I'd just get a Schleich barn owl and paint him gold and bronze. At that size the difference between natural and mechanical feathers is negligible.
