Here's the product catalog:
https://m.imgur.com/a/lbYLw#62

I'm not sure if that's just for launch night or everything to be expected thru Xmas.

The only items of any real interest to me are the MiniRigs, among which I'm disappointed to not see the mecha-head beastie. I am very much digging Rey's speeder bike. Just a big jet engine with a seat; sweet and simple.

If you guys plan on buying a lot come Force Friday and Saturday (Sept 4/ Sept 5), you might want to consider Target. They have a coupon you can send to your phone (doesn't work yet, i tried) to get $10 off a $50 purchase or $25 off a $100 purchase.

text 827438 either FORCE10 and FORCE25 on your mobile to get it. (don't text until next week).

MiniRigs? What do you mean? I ask because I know the MiniRigs to be the pint sized versions of larger vehicles from the vintage line. Mini Imperial Shutte, Mini Skiff, etc.

I'm still on the fence if I am going at midnight or not. I have to work the next day and I have no doubts that the stuff I want will be available in good quantities. It's pretty much the X-Wing, Tie Fighter, speeder bike, maybe a couple of other small items. I'm not going crazy this time like I did for the previous movie releases.

MiniRigs is a catch-all for any of the SW small one/two-man vehicles. Back in the day it meant the non-canon stuff, but it's basically a product class name regardless of canonicity.

2 more figures, new characters NOT seen in the catalog reveal.
More NEW The Force Awakens figures are being found at retail.

Also, sounds like Kanan and Ezra from REBELS are being shipped on new cards.

Sigh. Just read the thread and saw that these are 5 POA. Disappointed does not cover my reaction.I was planning on grabbing my kids and heading to the midnight madness, but seeing what's on offer,I'll likely pass.

If a figure is going to be close to or over $10 (someone said $12?!!), it needs to have articulation that exceeds what I had back in the 80's.

Couldn't agree more. Are we in 1977 or 2015. 5 points of articulation?! The robed figures like Rey and Kylo Ren, their robes are not real, it's just plastic. Geez. And those weird accessories included with each figure. And that Millennium Falcon, what happened? The most action packed? I don't think so Hasbro. That huge Falcon that came out some years ago, now that was the most action packed!

I thought Jurassic World toys were worse. How wrong I was. Even if I was a kid I would still be let down. It's sad that the role play toys and Furby Chewbacca are more exciting than the actual toys. And Rey's speeder, geez so blocky, a little more imagination...

This is the best Hasbro could do??? I still can't believe it. I have never been so disappointed in toys before. Look at Jurassic World toys. Nothing like the vintage Jurassic Park and Lost World toys where you had toys of the human characters and movie scaled dinosaurs and vehicles and play sets. And it's not just Star Wars Episode 7 toys and Jurassic World. It's also Transformers 4 toys which were under scaled, movie inaccurate (Dinobots, Bulkhead, Drift) and had meager paint jobs. Then Guardians of the Galaxy with its tiny figures. Age of Ultron and Ant Man with its non existent 3 3/4" figures. No toys for XMen First Class or Days of Future Past. Don't hold your breath for XMen Apocalypse. GI Joe toys scarce and few. This is a trend. A pattern. I am sorry to say this but toys are devolving and becoming less articulated, less painted, and more expensive than ever! At this point for the most part I don't see things improving anymore with Hasbro.

Up here, compared to the previous 2015 figures, TRU is now charging $3 more for the basic figures with the build a weapon gimmick and $8 more for those with the Imaginext like vest, ouch.
Who will pay $15 for the same 5 poa Boba Fett that was first released on his own and then in a two pack under the Rebels banner just because he has a new rubber armor? Oi!

Yes, but we need to accept it, because collectors were "spoiled" by the quality of previous figures and these figures are for the "kids" (AKA Hasbro's go to excuse when they do something that's a bad idea).
