I thought that about the green shoulder armor too until I realized it was from the other color set.

Woot woot! Preview review from GeneralsJoes - http://generalsjoes.com/2015/06/12/gene ... ask-force/

"Kickstarter supporters should be expecting their figures shortly, and anyone who can get their hands on these definitely should!"

"Shortly"... does that mean they're already in the mail?

And a review from HissTank: http://news.hisstank.com/2015/06/15/mar ... hoot-54691

I'm wondering if there's a reason why we've not seen any pics of a disassembled figure. I've heard some tell that these review figures are of first-run rejects, so maybe these wouldn't survive disassembly.

I wasn't in the kickstarter, but am highly interested in purchasing them once they hit their store

Maybe some of the figure parts combo shots are from the reject group, I don't know, but the review ones are absolutely the actual production run. Word on the street is that it has been a tight ship with these, the quality of the pics and review have to be up to gun running standards. The hips are sort of like MU but tighter. So the legs pop on with no thigh disassembly. The last word anyone would use to describe the torso joint is "fragile". The only minor detraction that has mentioned isn't with the figure itself, but is exactly what MJ warned about, the modular parts not staying on as well without glue.

^ for custom swaps with other Marauder figures, you'd almost never take the legs off, since you can just swap the entire "pants" at the waist line.

But if you were wanting to change out the legs from another line, good to see there are options. Hopefully that plastic t-bar is good and sturdy. it's been rare, but the marvel ones occasionally are problems. And cast t-bars almost never hold up.

I should have guessed it would be drbindy talking about getting the pants off these guys. :darkjedi:

The T-bar is probably my most worrisome joint of them all. I'm really curious how the balljoints in the legs will size up with say a 25th era style metal T-bar. I'm not banking on straight out of the box compatibility but without the split thigh construction adapting the MTF thigh to a Joe or other size T-bar could be troublesome. If the MTF thigh joint is smaller than the Joe T-bar then all you have to do is dremel it out. But if its bigger then you'll need to fill it somehow. Man, now I'm wishing I had tried harder to keep all those loose 25th friction pads from when I was customizing. But hey, we're customizers. This is what we do, right?

Speaking of construction, has anyone seen or heard mention of how the shoulder joints connect with the torso? I'm assuming they'll just boil and pop like the elbows. I see too many QC issues with the shoulder pegs having the end disc like Joe arms and then sealing the two halves of the torso together around them.

Since these are coming soon I guess its time to dust off my "arm the MTF figures" weapons list I started during the Kickstarter.

Copy/paste of an exchange over on the HACKS FB:
Jason Thees
Hey Justin Bell, are the torsos easily openable?

Justin Bell
They're sonic welded I believe, Jason Thees like the modern Joe figures. I haven't tried the same torso cracking tricks, so I cannot say one way or the other

Andrew Franks
Glued, not sonic welded.

Justin Bell
Pshh... as if YOU'D know... ‪#‎rollseyes‬

Adrian Veidt
The torsos don't need to be cracked for arm-swapping, do they? I was under the impression these guys are entirely pull-apart and pop-n-swap.

Andrew Franks
Yeah, the only thing you'd need to crack the torso for is arm-swapping.

Since the torso doesn't have the Joe moob joint, I dunno if it's gonna be easier or harder to crack the torso. I'll ask if the shoulder discs are compatible, but I'm gonna guess they're not. I'm thinking the hip balls and pegs are bigger than for Joes, so all you'd need is the hot glue trick to get MTF legs on a Joe pelvis, but Joe legs on an MTF pelvis is gonna be a bit more work.

Excited about today's update and the prospect that they may well be in my hands by the holiday. Can't wait to take my figures for a test fit.

Marauder Task Force Figures & Accessories have started to ship!

For backers only
Hey Marauder Task Force Team Members!
We have begun shipping the Marauder Task Force Kickstarter reward packages! THANK YOU for your patience through this entire process and really appreciate those that stuck it out with us! It will take some time to pack & ship all the orders, but our goal is to have EVERYTHING shipped by the end of next week. Several of you will start receiving packages on Monday 6/22, with receipts continuing to arrive there after. International orders ship first, but will still take longer than domestic orders to arrive.
ALL our resources are directed towards packing & shipping, so please be so kind as to hold off asking for tracking info or checking if your package has shipped. We will be DELIGHTED to deal with specific package shipping details on a case by case basis after shipping is complete.

Also, a BIG thank you to Boss Fight Studio. We all know about their design work on the MTF project, but the delay with our MTF project resulted in a "ripple" effect delay with the release of their Vitruvian HACKS project. BFS went above & beyond helping to correct the production issues. Everything from working solutions with the engineers, reviewing materials, tooling adjustments...they even took time to check out the production during their recent Hong Kong trip. Thanks to the combined efforts of BFS & MGR, and our factory vendors, we have refined our production process, hopefully ensuring smoother rollout for all upcoming BFS & MGR projects.
Again, THANK YOU for your support and we really hope you like YOUR Marauder Task Force action figures & accessories!

MJ & the entire Marauder Team
