Been meaning to post a photo of the "rock star" set. Ordered it around Christmas but just been slacking.

Check it out:



The set has the mic and stand (the mic is removable from the stand and the stand is two pieces that plug together), the guitar and the amp. The shoulder strap on the guitar is flexible to a point. Some warm water helps loosen it up to fit over figures arms and chests... but the connections/pins are brittle and might break if tweaked too much.

All in all this is a fairly decent set. =)

If one was looking for another type of guitar, the ReAction figure of Oz from Buffy the Vampire Slayer has a black one that is more "METAL!" if ya can find him.

is that figure 6" ?

i ordered two styles of guitar and they are a bit big for 33/4" figures, i assumed they are the same companies??

The custom figure of Eight (normal, plain clothes look version 1.0) is 4" since it's mainly a WWE Build 'N Brawl body with a special head added. The BtVS Oz figure that was mentioned is right around the size of old school Star Wars figures... which are about 3.75" as well. One day might pick him up from Hasting's just to have the retro styled figure... and switch his guitar for Eight's. >_>



Re-Ment is definitely the company this set came from, which is what the_Archivist should have posted at the start of this thread... though we shouldn't fault him for that. =) evilchuk did, but that was way after the topic got rolling. They do have quite a few different scaled items, but this line (titled "Pose Skeleton") is down right close enough to 1:18. If they're the same company y'all got those guitars from, then ya must've bought 'em at 1:12. With Joes, sometimes 1:24 or 1:16 can be "cheated" to match real scale items. Now if we're talking Sigma 6, those "axes" would probably look more appropriate.

The flat screen TV and company water cooler came from fan21_hk. Link to their store. The "special edition" Playboy with Scarlett in it (yes, it has pics you'd expect from said company... but not really of Rachel Nichols except the cover and small pics in the "profile" fold out) is from this fella right here. He does custom 1:18 & 1:24 tattoos as well. Pepsi bottle is from another eBay seller whose name is escaping memory at the moment...

Hope ya find the right fit, 2d2c. And here's hoping the mentioned kitchen set is out soon and for a decent price... Eight could use some home cooked meals instead of take out all the time.

I can tell you right now from years of watching Re-ment stuff it is usually Barbie doll scale. if you get food or guitars or things from them they are going to be too big.
this skeleton line is a separate thing by them that is made in 1:18th scale (though again their normal scale is for 12"), though I have seen it listed as being 1:20 scale as well meaning its slightly smaller than 1:18. I got the sets awhile back myself and the stuff looks pretty good, but the skeleton itself is about 3 1/2" at best. I am CONSTANTLY searching for instruments that work in the 1:18th scale and have bought so many things unsure of the exact size and getting guitars that are just too big enough to not work. I constantly message sellers on ebay asking for length measurments on guitars, this is for keychains and Christmas ornaments and all sorts of crap.

I decided to order a couple of the sets on a whim after seeing them posted here and I'll have to say, they're excellent. I'll be ordering most of these sets just to stock up on the accessories. The next assortment looks promising, as well. I'll try to get some pics posted, but the ones already posted in this thread already do a great job to show how compatible they are.

and a break down of the articulation. This seems to be the child skeleton. The elbows and knees in the bigger ones have the "revol" joint

Does anyone know whether these are cheaper to order from AmiAmi (With shipping) or just pay the Ebay prices that have shipping included?
