Scored a Tenth Doctor and an Asylum Dalek at the Walgreens closest to my house this afternoon (BOGO 50% :) ). Still need the Classic Dalek and Amy Pond.

Yep, I saw these at the Walgreens near me, today, too. I was astonished. And I wish I'd known you needed an Amy Pond because I think I saw one.

I think the sale is buy TWO get one 50%, by the way, but it covers a heck of a lot of Walgreens' toy section.

Is there a 9th Doctor in this line?

Not yet, just Tennant, Smith, and Capaldi thus far. Give them a few more waves to start getting into the past.

[LASER BLAST]'! Picked up a pair of the Daleks at the near-work WGs that was resetting yday, and will shoot by the far-work one at lunch hoping to get Amy or more li'l cans of hatred. After having a couple of the 5" line's Daleks playing w/ my Joes these seem small, but I'm sure to get over it. I'm surprised that they're entirely different molds, but appreciative of CharOp's dedication to detail. These two are probably my fave in-store figure purchases this whole year.

Stopped by 4 of our 5 Walgreens on the way home yesterday.
First one had a spot for them, but no figures.
Second had a single tenth Doctor.
Third had a tenth Doctor and one each of the Daleks.
Fourth had an eleventh Doctor in tweed and a single Amy Pond.

All in all, I ended up with a full set of the 4 New figures, and an extra tenth Doctor for one of my boys. Pretty happy. I'll probably still hit the last one on the way home today.

Man I wish the humans from this line were more compatible with Joes. As is, loading up on Daleks, and planning to keep making the humans myself. I mean, if I'm going to collect a line because I love the property, and it's not going to be in-scale anyway, I may as well bump up a scale and at least get the ones that look nice. But, I guess there's enough here to just keep on customizing.

Maybe someone will get the larger heads shrunk to our scale some time anyway.

Managed to find a Capaldi Doctor, which was a on a wave 2 card and did not come with a sonic screwdriver. I did not know they were carrying wave two.

The reason that's there is because they used it to fill a gap in the case because the 12th Doctor figure (with the red inside of his jacket visible) was rejected at the last minute. The new 12th doctor resculpt is on its way. (check out doctorwhotoys.net for all the details, just click on news or 3.75)

If Amy and Oswyn (sp?) were just little more compatible with Joe style figures, I'd be buying like a dozen.

Thanks for the info. Now I won't go crazy looking for wave 2 Daleks.

I've been to 14 WGs in the past two days and only found the Daleks at the first of them. Only one other site had the tag on display. All had completed their Halloween reset and all had GoTs and Spidey figs. I'm thinking that since those two lines have WGs exclusives they did a case to each store, but stuck to the split-a-case philosophy for the nonexclusive Whos. Which blows goats (or should I say GoTs?).

Snagged 2 Amy Ponds today at another Walgreens. Now I just need the Classic Dalek and I am caught up until Wave 4 hits.

It looks like the US is getting a gold/white Dalek variant, and a green coat 11th Doctor variant coming very soon to etailers.
