This looks potentially promising for us vehicle guys to maybe get some Joe scale stuff to work with. Not sure on getting Joe type figures though.

Well we can immediately count out all the stuff labeled "HERO MASH" as it's part of that cross-brand "take-apart and rebuild" line that currently includes Marvel and Transformers. Cartoony stuff, 6 inches tall IIRC.

The rest, we'll have to wait and see.

I'm sure it'll be 5 poa stuff if there are figures. I'm not sure why you'd do the Hero Mashers things with dinosaurs, but whatever.

Are you kidding? Put a T-Rex head on an apatosaurus neck, with the T-Rex body and legs, and pteranodon wings instead of the little arms? That's some quality play time right there.

I wonder, given the mega-scope of a dinosaur movie, if. These toys might be smaller scale like the GotG stuff?

You may be right. I'm looking at the vehicle prices,

JURASSIC DLX VEHICLE, #608494, $21.99
JP CAPTURE VEHICLE #231595- $19.99

and hoping that since the 50th vehicle packs come with 2 fully articulated figures and 2 vehicles for $45, that this translates into Joe scale vehicles at these prices. I think they will come with 5 POA drivers, but hopefully at least in the right scale. I really want some new stuff to mess around with.

the fact that the mashers are being used across various Hasbro licenses makes me think the excuse for why they don't use the Joe style for all of their other 1/18 properties is wrong.

I demand that all prior 1:18 offerings beginning at least with the Indiana Jones figures be re-made Joe style...

;)

Also, yeah, based on pricing AND based on how much 1/18 stuff is still languishing on the shelf, be prepared to be disappointed by the scale of these.

If we get a 1:18 scale Chris Pratt head likeness, they can be 5 poa figures.

Getting very tired of 5 POA everything, especially in Star Wars, but perhaps the vehicles will be cool.

And I have yet to be impressed with much of anything in the "Mashers" line, with the possible exception of Transformers, where I think the concept actually works fairly well (and I still haven't bought any, nor do I regard them as any sort of priority). Fully expect to see Star Wars Mashers in the near future. :-/

The movie sounds interesting, at least.
