Big Ben looks to be another winner! I thought the Club might use the POC Arctic Duke tooling again to some extent with this figure, but it appears not.

It might be more accurate to say the parts are the 7-pack/Night Force Falcon torso and legs with the 25th Dusty arms (and the torso was originally from the the 25th Dusty, so there shouldn't be a problem with the parts fitting). Or, the 25th Dusty torso/arms with the POC Dusty legs. :)

I thought it was the Dusty arms at first too but its not as it looks like the left arm has the MP patch that the ROC PITT Trooper arms have. Definitely not the 25th Dusty arm though as the lowers on 25th Dusty have a "ruffled" looking cuff at the end of the sleeve that these don't have.

Ok that is nice. I was afraid they might go with that 25th anniversary arctic Snake Eyes body but this looks great.

Anyone who is doing the FSS and doesn't want Big Ben, please let me know. I would love to get this figure. Big Ben has always been one of my favorite characters.

Assuming you mean ROC Zartan/"MP" and not Pit Trooper, I agree on second look that it appears to use that torso and possibly the upper arms as well, though I'm less convinced about the upper arms. The lower arms are almost definitely from someone else, as the cuffs on the ROC Zartan figure are noticeably thinner than the rest of the lower arm part, which doesn't appear to be the case with Big Ben. My first guess was the Retaliation G.I. Joe Trooper arms, but I can't make out enough detail on the image to compare.

FOUND IT! It's these Desert ROC Duke arms. 25th Dusty torso and POC Dusty legs.

I'm pretty sure the arms are from RoC Desert Duke: http://www.yojoe.com/action/09/duke33.shtml

The torso may be from the same figure as well. That would mean that it does not have the articulated waist.

Big Ben looks good.

Good catch, both of you. I kept thinking the skirt looked too thin to be from ROC Zartan.

Yeah I'd say the whole torso/arms are the desert RoC Duke with ball-jointed hands. Nice choice.

I like Big Ben but I wish they would have used the Pit trooper legs.

Big Ben looks nice. The head is great. Not huge on the torso selection. I was hoping for something bulkier, but the Club would have just used one of the arctic figure's coats and that wouldn't have been right, either.

Huh; the two figures I was most looking forward to from this set (Hit & Run and Big Ben) have been a little underwhelming for me. There's nothing wrong with this figure, per se, but I guess I was just picturing something a little closer to iwbeta(?)'s phenomenal Big Ben custom from a while back. My own mistake, obviously, but there's just something that doesn't quite grab me about this guy. That said, I think it'll be a simple fix to get it to a point where I'm happy with it, and it has a lot going for it.

Okay, I'm SERIOUSLY impressed with Big Ben. I like the headsculpt. Although it somehow looks a little less -- British than the original headsculpt somehow -- and I don't think I could even explain that -- the headsculpt reminds me more than a little of how Big Ben appeared in his few appearances in the animated series (one of the few highlights of the DIC series was that we actually got to see Big Ben, Red Star, and Big Bear in animated action), and it looks a bit younger than the original Big Ben, which isn't a bad thing, really.

The uniform comes together well, and presents itself as a very capable modern figure incarnation of the character. The British flag on the sleeve is a very welcome touch, as well. I would gladly welcome this Big Ben into my collection!
