They're pretty much attempting to do what every toy company should do. Everything we've been shown that hasn't been revealed yet is just full-throttle. Gorgons and Spartans are just the beginning. We saw some other images last night that are going to be such gorgeous sculpts, provide so many customizing options, and also completely stand on their own. Like I said in the GI JOE Discussion group on facebook, they're building a Universe.

Wow, I really like that stone Spartan.

From statues, to 'statues-come-to-life', it gives me a lot of different ideas for it.
I think I'd actually have more use for this one, than the standard version.

That's pretty impressive stuff even for one who doesn't really care about the theme.

My only worry is the plastic. I really hope they won't use the same soft rubbery plastic that is currently used on MU figures.

The only thing that really disappoints me, is that if the pre-curse Medusa stretch goal is met, the only way to get her is if you've gone in for the full set of four.
I'm really only interested in half of those figures, and not sure I want to pay for 2 figures I don't really want, just for the ability to purchase another figure.

That thought had occured to me, but I don't know if anyone is just interested in the standard Spartan and the coral snake chick.
I also thought about buying the two I want, and seeing if anyone who purchased an entire set for themselves, would be kind enough to let me piggyback an order for the pre-curse figure on to thier order.

This is an issue for me as well. I don't like all four of the figures enough to be able to justify the cost, but really like some of the stretch goal figures. I assume those will be available at some point afterwards and I will just have to wait.

One thing I didn't see on the Kickstarter page, and may have just missed it was, when are these expected to ship if funded?

Estimated Delivery is Feb 2015 - It's on the pledges on the right side.
