Count me in. Excited to see these along with other Joe figures (both modern and vintage)

I'm more interesting in the new helmets and headgear than the figures. It's easy to acquire helmetless figures but harder to find hats for them (I don't customize so the unpainted resin castings never appealed to me). So I hope this does well and those are offered at good prices.

I hope this is true and not an elaborate April Fool's trick, but I've learned to take news that gets posted on this day with a grain of salt.

The figures look awesome, the number of modular accessories is great, everything about this is top notch, but I'm waiting until tomorrow to get excited ;-)

Trust me, this is legit. I've heard through the grapevine that they have been working on this for a year. Here is a comment from the Kickstarter page

Quote:
The key advantage is that the prototypes are FINISHED and TOOL READY, so we don’t have to go through the sculpting stage, review stage or prototype stage…those stages are complete. If we reach our funding goal, the factory is given the “green light” to start tooling when the prototypes arrive (they will ship to the factory the DAY we reach our funding goal). This is our 2nd project with the new factory and we worked through any issues with the production process with our first Kickstarter project.

We have a target avail date of December 2014. That allows approximately 8 months from the end of the Kickstarter project to us actually shipping product. As mentioned earlier, the ONLY part of the process left to do is the actual production. All designs, all prototypes, all paint masters are COMPLETE, so the 8 months will be devoted to making the production tools & producing the actual items.

Like Matthew said, this is no joke. The timing of the announcement probably has more to do with Marauder Inc and Boss Fight Studio wanting to show them off at JoeCon in Dallas.

I committed for $195. This stuff is so awesome. I have so many ideas for customs just based on the photos. I really hope they hit multiple stretch goals.

Just been informed Marauder won't be at Joe Con. But it still is no joke. Carry on.

This had better not be some elaborate April fools joke. (edit: seems that other people feel the same way...)

I am torn. I can really only afford one. The black seems like it would have the most value, but then it really doesn't show off the factory painting and detail. The desert one looks good, but is limited to a single environment.

So which one to have...

I am also looking forward to modular web gear period. It's a brilliant and simple idea.

Looking at the figure construction, with the waist instead of mid-torso, are they O-ring figures?

T - Was quickly checking the kickstarter page and promotional video so forgive me if this was mentioned already.

The legs don't seem to have a screw that I can see from the grey prototypes.

Are the arm and legs easily detachable? Am thinking the legs might just pop right off but would the arms require splitting the torso to be removed? Or would heating the shoulder joint with a hair dryer do the trick?
