I finally found some extra 25th figures and am starting to work on a few customs, my first is Diana. I am using the Lady Jaye body and the head from Star Wars McQuarrie Starkiller Hero. I like it so far, but wanted some opinions on her. Should I go with a diffrent color scheme? or maybe just change her top colors? I am working on sculpting out a hat but I like her without it right now. Let me know what you think!

Now if I can only find me a couple of Shipwrecks so I can start working on my Chuckles!!!

She looks great! I don't think she needs any changes color-wise or hat-wise. I'm lovin' how that head looks for Daina. Now to get my hands on these mysterious 25th figures :-/ Consider that idea sto, er borrowed.

The only thing I would change color wise is to reverse the colors. Make the pants camo and the shirt the solid tan color. But that's just me. I like the way the figure looks and the head looks really good, especially with no cap.

I agree with Mysterious Stranger about switching the colors. The head is spot on, you don't really need a hat. Like the dragonov too. If you do make a hat, can we see it?

Are you going from Daina first appearance in GI Joe #7 or 8? Great job on her. If you do go for a hat, are you going to do the fur hat or the tankers cap?

Oh, I am so going to have to copy that figure. Thought about using Lady Jaye for Daina, but you have shown me the way :-D

It might be the angle, but the neck looks a little swan-esque - like Diana played by Paris Hilton.

Do you have any room on the head to drill a little deaper, and shorten the neck?

Thanks for the tips guys, I was trying to get her to look like issue #7, but I am going to switch the colors around, cammo pants and a tan top. The head does sit a little high, though the angle I shot her from makes it look much worse. Credit for the head goes to my wife, she said if the goggles/headwrap came off she would make a good Diana. I will post pictures of her in the new colors and her hat when I get it done. Thanks again guys!

I think she looks great so far, I wouldn't swap the colors around cuz the tanner color on the top would blend more with her flesh so you wouldn't notice as much. No hat needed on this figure either looks like diana would, just tighten up the paint and she's perfected,
Tim

Very nice, I might have to copy that for myself with one exception, and this is personal, but I would add an undershirt. I dislike that they tried to sex up Lady Jaye to start with. But, either way thats a nice custom.

Go for the hat/cap. You've done a great job on the figure so far and customizing the head will really lock it in as a totally reworked figure.

That's a point of view that would give you a bit more to be proud of. The figure looks great as is, though. But I say to go for the extra challenge and sculpt a hat.

Well did not get to work on this as much as I wanted to over the long weekend, but I finally got the hat done and the new paint job. I like this a little better, I like the t-shirt under the jacket to help seperate her from Lady Jaye. For the hat I used sculpty and folded it like the real hat then ran the grooved area of the exacto knife over it to give it the texture. I then boiled it to harden it and painted it up and dry bushed over that. I really like how it came out and glad I made it removable as she looks good both ways. I just need to go back and touch up a few areas and then clear coat her and she is done! Let me know what you guys think! Thanks!
