This just an idea that I came up with not law. I got a SHS Punisher in the mail and thought to myself I could use the waist and crotch for the Crow custom I was going to make. So I popped Punisher's waist and legs off from his torso then i took a neck peg that i had spare and opened the torso and put the neck peg in the torso and then closed the torso back up. I had a good tight fit with the neck peg and then I took and dremeled out a hole for the peg in the SHS waist and just plugged it in to the hole in the neck peg and it fit just fine had to sand down the neck peg some to get a good waist to torso line but in the end it fit good and I had SHS legs and waist on a Joe torso. I put SHS Doom legs and arms on a Spy Troops IG Torso and Crotch with a CP Destro head.
It looks pretty good.

I thought SHS figs had completely different thigh and shoulder joints than Joes of any sort.

Can one of you masters who have disassembled these things post a few pics of the inside of one? I'd sure appreciate it.

Well for the arms. If you just split the torso, the arm ball joints and the like....things they plug onto fit perfectly inside a joe torso. My JCW custom has SHS wolverine arms for a while.

Well when I took apart the Punisher his body was like the 25th style heads just pull and it comes apart. I have not taken the arms and legs them selves off yet
