Retaliation Night Vipers

If we haven't seen the raft by the convention or any better stock of the Night Viper, this would be good to ask about. Depending on who is on hand, we might get an answer.

Ok, I missed something here.

Both the President of Boy Toys at Hasbro (Darryl DePriest) and the GI Joe design team leader (John Warden) confirmed that the Python Patrol Croc Master (based on a custom by TTT) and a olive drab Blowtorch (based on original preproduction art for the character) were produced as intentional running changes for the Pursuit of Cobra Jungle Assault Croc Master and Blowtorch. As of yet, the paint variations have never surfaced at retail that we know of.

I've only seen the one packaged one everyone else has. I'm not even sure if that was just a packaging mock up for the pics or part of the production run that is supposedly missing in action.

Maybe they'll package it with the 50th stuff... if there is any.

I still have no want or need for that Croc Master, but a non-"shoot me"-colored Blowtorch would be swell.

I was really looking forward to that tan-and-green Blowtorch; I still hold out a very, very vain hope that it'll show up in some obscure retail chain someday.

And, speaking of vain hopes, I'm also nursing one that involves the radical Night Landing set. Of all the later-wave Retaliation stuff, that might have been the thing I was most excited about (and, considering how great most of that stuff turned out to be, that's saying something).
