I've never understood why the Club has the 12" figure with just some shorts and a T-shirt and the uniform that basically defines the figure is sold as a separate item. That would be like giving out the 4" figure without any paint or accessories. I know they are notorious for milking collectors out of every last penny but this just seems kinda low even for them. They should charge more for the 12" membership and give them the whole package. Are there really members who get the free 12" figure and NOT get the uniform set? "Here's my collection of GIJoe Club 12" membership figures. Yes they are just in their underwear. No, they are supposed to be like that."

And now I want to start a collection of the 12" membership figures in just their skivvies. What is wrong with me?

While this figure looks good because of the Boss Fight sculpted head and vest, and it's way better than what Hasbro would have done in 2007-09 for a 25th update,

Agreed. It's been said before, but unique vests and heads can for pretty much every character going forward and the Club will be able to continue filling out the RAH line for years to come.

The Snow Cat as Havok II is a bit of a stretch. It even has the ski-pedos. Its funny because I love the Snow Cat, I always thought is was a very futuristic looking vehicle when it came out, and I think its stood the test of time. I'd be more interested if they re-did the Silver Mirage/Z-Force recon bike. They did a great update for the Silver Mirage, and then had a tiny release. That would be a good vehicle for the club to do.

I hated Cross Country as a kid...but he looks really cool here. I like the vehicle, too, honestly. I still probably won't join.

That's only because the club messed up on his colors. He should have been all black. Just the vest is brown. http://www.yojoe.com/action/89/spearhead2.shtml

I'm not seeing what they messed up on. He is all black with teal boots/gloves and a brown vest. His colors look essentially the same to me as the original NF figure.

The spearhead that came in my box was brown.

Yes he is. My bad, I was only looking at the photos of the Club's Spearhead on yojoe.com. On my monitor it looked like he was in a black outfit. I dug mine out and its definitely brown.

it's a lot more that a bit of a stretch... even Mr Fantastic can't stretch that far.

the Club is delusional to pass the Cat off as a new HAVOC and think it's a logical or acceptable followup to the purely sci-fi experimental original vehicle.

Nice looking figure. He won't be going into my fodder bin like last year's.

I think the production figure actually looks a slight bit better than the mock-up, and I liked the mock-up!

Very impressed here! The headsculpt is excellent. Definite improvement over the original figure, which had that huge honker. Detail is superb, basic uniform design is very much like the original, and I love the wrench accessory.

that reeeeeally makes me wish that Boss Fight Studios had been utilized for the Iceberg figure... they could have salvaged that wreck of a modern update.
