I am not a big fan of the copper colored ones, I think I will put all 3 of them in one set and eBay it next week. The blue and red ones are much better. Reminds me of the Micronaut aliens from the '70s.

Okay, there's customs and there's customs. And my usual sarcastic wit is completely failing me right about now... 8-O

'Trekker (or anyone) have you come across these in store locally? Considering the size and price ($5) that isnt bad custom fodder .

A separate toyline from the same company...

Does anyone know what the articulation points on this second line are? The elbows on one look like they might be swivel hinge ("ball jointed elbow").

They've had them at Family Dollar for awhile.

I've seen the ones in the bottom pic at Gordman's.

All credit to Falconhood for the pictures.
The robot in the 2nd picture was found at Ross. I dont know the price so far but im hoping one of you can fill me / us in. I believe they were mentioned to be 12'' tall.

Hypno do you recall the price and or articulation on the Robotica figures? They seem like decent fodder if the wide leg stance and elbow positioning mean hinge swivel hips and ball hinge elbows.

Think they were in the 15-20 range, articulation seemed decent. I'll try and hit Gordmans and see if they're still around.

Yup. Family Dollar. All the small aliens now have a flashing light gimmick in the torso.

Picked up one of the other non MARS derived bots too at Gordmans. I'll try and get some pics of that up tomorrow.

And I just realized I missed the second page of this thread, making most of my post redundant. Oh well.

I like them 'Titan AE' aliens quite a bit, and prefer these solid-colored ones to the earlier clear ones I've got.

Thank you very much for the pictures and details Hypno.

Re: the Alien Attack (MARS Heroes alien rebranding?)...what's crazy is that i don't need any of these robots but 5 unique robot designs with articulation for $5 ...how can you NOT pick up a pack when you see them?! And the larger $5 robot..i'd be all over that adding articulation and dremeling out the torso so that it could house a pilot or some other gimmick. Again ..for $5...how do you pass that up? It's like 8 inches tall with easy removable limbs for bashing on superior joints if you care to.
