Anyone have the shipping info or ordering info for the DG second wave repaints? A friend I work with works at a DG part time and said he can get them for me if I have the order info for them. he has seen the regular ones so he know what I'm talking about.

Darkjedi, I'm still trying to figure out how they had 2 cases for you. I know the manager of one of my local stores and he was barely able to order a refill of 5 for his store and I got them out of a plastic shipping tub mixed in with all the other toys. There wasn't even a full set in it, I'm still missing the orange headed Storm Shadow. Most of the other management I've talked to say the same thing, except for the one store that still has the 06 series (with Stalker, Dusty, & Ace) on the peg for the new Joes.

All I know Is I've gotten 5-6 of those white boxes filled with all six figures.

How they do the ordering I don't know.

From what the Manager said, it is what is shipped to them.

Last time I was there, I picked up 3 boxes. Before that was two.

Had to pass on 4 boxes this time, although now I wish I had gone up and cherry picked the ones I wanted.

I'm probably gonna just skip the Storm Shadows, Cobra Commanders, and Snake-Eyes from now on...

I have talked to DG stores near me, I was told they just get what they get, they have no control over it. The trucks show up and they unload it. Seems bizarre to me, but that is what they told me.

my thought was maybe you could ask who you talked to how they ordered what they were able to order to help out Silent Master and the others....Ask them how they ordered it and what #'s maybe?

From what I've heard, the shipping container is the exact same for both the wave1 figures and the wave 2. So places like Dollar Genral getting both, you cna't tell which versions are coming in.

Not to long ago I was a manager of DG. Here is how ordering works....
There is a POS system in place (Point of sales) that automatically orders what you need. However the system is flawed and on Sundays (at least in my store) we took a couple hours to go through what we have sold completely out of. The empty tag gets scanned to see why they haven't shipped. Many times its theft and the system doesn't track theft. Sometimes the item will be in the backroom and no one has stocked the item. Sometimes the warehouse was out so we didn't get what we needed. Ether way from the hand held scanner you can edit your inventory and have the product force shipped.


When a DG manager says 'we just get what we get.' That is true but they can also order for themselves as well. They can take the hand held scanner, zap the tag and order as many as they want... If the warehouse has that many of the item then no worries..

That was what I was told by the local store as well as when I called the Customer Line.

I was told that if a store sells more of an item (possibly what DJ's is helping his store to do) then then can get more of them sent. Basically its Supply/Demand. As long as his store sells out then they have to refill the shelves with the figures. They have not sold out of the first wave here since the last restock, so not many stores have the 2nd wave here.

I still havn't seen wave 2. Just wave 1 CC hanging around and wont go away.

well I got a W2 Stormshadow, and Trooper at the one down the street from me so Its looking ok for now on dist. Ill still have my other source keep checking for me.

Just checked the DG on this end of town. All they had was wave Shipwreck and Cobra Commander. I'm still hoping to score a wave 2 Shipwreck and Cobra Trooper.

I did pick up SW. He's on the fodder pile, for now.

in eastern Ohio and western West Virginia the DG stores have kept a good stock and resupply. I have 3 stores around me and they all have kept up pretty well.
