Does anyone have experience customizing/cannabilizing these guys? I've bought a few and I've decided to get a few more (some of the extra junk is cool like the Halo gear for the paratroopers) How do you take them apart? Has anyone made swiveling wrists for them?

I've bought a few (SWAT, Marines) for their gear, and have had some success boil & popping their limbs and heads off.

The SWAT figures would come apart with very little effort, actually.

Don't know about the brand-new stuff, as I've not tried to take it apart, but my impression from the WWII parachute figures is that BBI is using better, less rubbery plastic. Boil & popping might work (especially with the heads, hands, and boots/lower legs), but the legs and arms might be stuck in the hard plastic torso.

The Pros from Dover would be a good person to ask on this--he's done extensive customs using the BBI figures over the past couple of years. Here's a link to his stuff in the Gallery:

He's even used those Elite Forces figures and put them to good use. :-)
