Celebrities in G.I. Joe have been around for awhile and we don't always agree with their inclusion, but they're here and part of the history of the brand. My question is if you had the chance to add a new celebrity Joe who would you add? You could go for the person themselves (Fridge, Slaughter, etc) or a character they portray (Rocky).
My choices are as follows:
Abby (Paulie Parrette) from NCIS.
Hettie Lange from NCIS LA.
Cowboy James Storm from TNA.
Any of the main characters from the Marine movies.

The first two would provide some great support personnel, Abby the awesome lab tech & Hettie is an Intel operations powerhouse. Now the Cowboy would give us another fighter and a chance to get 3 3/4 beer bottles and his sweet cowboy hat. The last three were just good combat characters if you've seen the movies.

Of the top of my head, Danny Trejo would be awesome. He could be an undercover operative infiltrating the Dreadnoks. I think the Noks need to round out their base anyway, and adding a dynamic Hispanic character would be pretty cool.

The character John Pope from Falling Skies would make a pretty cool figure. He is pretty complicated as far as which side he would be on and would be a mercenary for sure. He even has a group of followers/soldiers called the Berserkers.

John Armijo, ALF, or The Three Amigos.

Actually I think Nathan Fillion would make a good Joe.
He seems altruistic enough in real life.

Fictional, though? Jack Burton.

There were a few celebrities that were considered for the ARAH line that were scrapped. We (Declassified) are trying to get some information together so we can get a list together to make public.

Fillion should've been Flint in Retaliation.

Also: Hal Jordan.

He's a bit too old to play the latter in an origin story, though. Maybe back in the Firefly days, but not today.

I'd have gone with John Barrowman, myself.

Got another name for the list:
Patrick Jane aka the Mentalist. He finds out Red John is working for/with Cobra and there you go. I could picture him and Psych Out carrying on full conversations over his obsession and then turning and working to combat Crystal Ball or a Cobra mindcontrol device.

Simple solution: digitally de-age him for the tenm minutes it takes to tell the origin. Then give us seasoned, graying temples Hal for a full-blown story that doesn't require him to bumble through training.

Back on topic: i'd love to see more animated celebrities join the Joe toyline. Sterling Archer and the folks at ISIS. The whole Team Venture. The rest of M.A.S.K. (And V.E.N.O.M.).

And i think there are comic characters that could fit the universe as well. Iron Man. Batman. Doctor Doom. Lex Luthor. Captain America. Nick Fury. Let's make Joe an all-skate property.

Wow, that's not very likely to happen. Piper can be PG. Venture, Archer, that stuff is very adult. No way Hasbro'd allow a crossover there.
Plus they're largely "comedy"-driven shows that don't really fit in with the more adventurous and "highly-trained special mission force" aspect of GIJoe.

I mean, how does that work? Archer drops a bunch of S-bombs while complaining about his mom while Snake-Eyes does all the work and saves Archer's butt?

If they insist on adapting Green Lantern into another film (and it sounds like they do), this is the way to do it. Established Hal is a thousand times more interesting than Learning-to-be-a-GL Hal.
