So I've been pretty lazy....I've got severe Custom ADD and haven't really finished ANYTHING i've started for a while.

Also...work just added Photobucket to the "blocked site = Red screen of Death" list...and I'm not happy about it...I like to spam you with my pictures.

anyway...The Mortal Quad has been on the books since the 05 con...Chrome Tech USA did the plating...chassis and wheels...stickers I picked up at the Con this year finished this baby off perfectly.

Shipwreck and Lady Jay are both from sometime last year when I had the Project Give back box... Having that many Joe parts spread out at one time...couldn't help but be inspiring...this is a bit of it:

Last is the Holo Projector...I started it for the GP Location is Everything...Started working on it again for the GP Second Chances...I still need at least one more Laser Viper Laser to make into a handle/lever...I may redo some of the electronics/lightings as you don't really see anything on the Main control box...and the projector dosn't light up much more than the hologram's feet.

Man, I remember seeing those arctic troops back when you handed off the box to me, and they are still a cool idea, though Shipwreck's lower legs look a little yellow. :-P

I know you don't do the work yourself, but you are by far the King of Chrome. That thing is awesome, and it sort of makes the Mortal a figure worth having.

Holo projector is awesome too. I wonder if there is a way to make the light up effect more effective.... that would be awesome.

No.... SILVER :-P

I wonder if you had another light like the one on the holo projector, if you could maybe put some support rods on the sides, and have another light shining down from the top? That might give him a more 'lit' look, especially against a darkened background.

Nova: is there any info elsewhere on the forums about this? (I searched for "Chrome Tech USA" to no avail.)

Prices, process, etc?

The Ferret is fantastic. I would never have thought of doing that and never for the Mortal.

The hologram projector just looks killer. I'd love to have that ina diorama somewhere. You'll have to incorporate that into your next Crystal army project.
