Does anyone have a picture of the half-track? I heard about it when it was out, but never found one.

Went to my local TRU today and saw the "True Legends" and Ninja figures, vehicles and play sets. Also saw some role play items, such as a Orc hammer and an Elf set with a few pieces for a kid to wear.

I don't know if I'll get anything yet, but the stuff does look pretty cool.

And they had a newer 5-pack of pirates, which is the same one I bought last year at an Express store.

They're back on page 1. You just can't see them because NINJAS!

Interesting to see ball socket joints (kinda like those M.A.Rs heroes sets). More figures for harvesting.

Interesting...despite those being old i cant help but notice they look eerily similar to Lanards Dragon Do figures (at least based upon memory)...

Thanks goodness for companies like Chap Mei, Lanard and the like who are willing to release things the big companies wont. I truly appreciate diversity and off of the wall desgins in the toy aisle.
I actually find myself more impressed with the diversity in dollar stores than i do when in places like Walmart. The quality is lacking often but the imagination isnt.

The action figure named SMASH in the Sentinel 1 True Heroes military themed packs reminds me of one of the Small Soldiers figures.

I've always wanted one of those guys in a smaller scale :D

I saw the Elves and Goblins/Orcs 4pks as well as the new Military 4pk and the new Pirate 5pk and I have to say that they all look pretty terrible. Very cartoony and underdetailed. The Pirates actually look very "soft", almost like the ultra cheapo knock-off of actual Chap Mei figs you see at dollar stores. The Military and Fantasy figures are regular Chap Mei quality, but look extremely unrealistic, even more cartooney than usual for Chap Mei. The Elves in particular are very "chunky", thick not slender like Elves are usually depicted and their heads look almost anime (if that makes any sense). I almost got the Goblins/Orcs because I thought a decent paint job would redeem them but ultimately put them back on the shelf.

Madnormigan posted on the chap mei boards that the griffin's have a saddle sculpted on their body, as earlier versions didn't have them sculpted, just a FYI.

im dissapointed by those elves but the orcs are sort of cool and i have been wanting that tower for almost a decade. but i never was able to find that chap mei tower or the old castle and now i have a big schleich castle so dont really think i need the tower anymore. same way i could never find the old pirate ships then the POTC ship came out and dont really need the chap mei one which i have seene since.

I scoped out some of these last night. Bought a couple Sentinel 1 figs, because the head sculpts on a few are pretty damn cool.

Checked out the elves, and felt the same way Spec feels. Had very little interest in the Orc set, but I will say that on my next trip back I probably will buy the Orc box with the two-headed wolves/wargs in it.

Here's a picture of the new Pirates. The quality seems to be the same as before. I picked up a set because I liked the designs. Not a bad deal at $8 for the set.
BTW, the guy with the grappling hook; the rope is attached to the body. The hook is removable, but not the rope. Also, the one at top left is molded in that pose. The rifle does not come off. Other than that, all accessories are removable.

I got my set of the 4 Orcs, they are big, they will not work with the Hobbit figures, they are even bulkier than Bolg, they might be good for bashing with the the MU Hulk, Juggernaught, Thanos, Blastarr & Thing sized bodies, they do have great sculpts though.
