See I think Zap is the weakest of the bunch. Nothing new. Well I guess none of them are nothing new but he's not even new looking.

Budo is good and would have been better if he came before SS and SE who came in the similar get up.

I like Mindbender. Yes it could be better, but for what would have been the only modern style lab Mindbender I think it is awesome.

I like the Nano-Bat.I would have easily got one at retail. The FSS, I'll wait for clearance.

I like Budo a lot, but I also loved his ARAH incarnation.
I think I am doing a LBC ROC Zap this weekend.
I had acquired a SW Plex launcher for that purpose.

True. I can't help but wonder if he's more test-shot-y than the rest, considering how different the planned card art is from this.
Still, all I'd need is a Zap head and I could reproduce this myself.


True. But it's still a better figure than I'd expected. The skirt makes a lot of difference.


I wonder if Hasbro might not be planning it somewhere down the line. I mean the Club hasn't jumped on labcoatBender, maybe Hasbro's saving him.
I do think he'd be better if his shoes didn't match his pants... but still, I think he looks great.

If I had to guess... I'd say that Thompson's art tells us one of two things... either when these were re-planned for POC they were also re-imagined... so the blue/black armor was changed to the green etc in Thompson's art... again moving away from ROC aesthetically like everything else did... OR when Thompson was allowed to show off his art, he was asked to alter it after the fact for the same reason... to distance it from ROC. So who knows... there might be a green Zap out there somewhere.
