Just thinking about Sig6 a bit lately, and some of the stuff they did that I really really liked... In no particular order

Shipwreck and his tattoo

A truly unique take on Shipwreck, I love everything about this version, from the monkey to the ex girlfriends tattoo, which is something I'd like to see carried over to the smaller figures at some time, because it is SO Shipwreck

Master Collector exclusive Sky BAT parachute drop figure

I don't often praise Master Collector, but this was a cool move, making the parachute drop figure based on the Sigma Six Sky BAT

Knickerbocker pants aside, I love this Destro for his accessories. The safe deposit box, the cash, the gold bricks and the gas mask, plus an assortment of guns and grenades, brought out a new side of Destro that I really liked.

Unfortunate that this will never see the light of day, this would have been an amazing figure

THIS is how you do repaints! Take an awesome figure, throw a little crazy science fiction in there, and run the awesome through the roof, and you get this bad boy, one of my favorite Zartan figures ever.

A great spin on the character, releasing him as a Joe and UNMASKED, taking him in a totally different direction, then swerving yet again to release him again later as a Cobra, having double crossed the Joes.

This figure was just balls to nuts awesome. One of the things I loved about Sigma Six was that hey were not afraid o go off the rails with their designs, and it gave us some cool stuff like this. Now I only that proposed 4 inch Dark Ninja Master had even a trace of the cleverness here...

Part SpyTroops, part Sgt Savage or whatever, part sci-fi, all awesome

Adventure Team Recondo

Just look at that sucker. That is all you need to know. Unfortunately, he has eluded me all these years, but he is a great figure.

Soooooooo much fun, sturdy, great toys for a pretty sweet price.

These are some of the things I loved about Sigma Six, a line that really doesn't get enough credit.

I just picked up Sgt. Stone at CoilCon a few weeks ago, and finally opened him up yesterday. What a great, great figure. Love the accessories, love the disguise. It boggles my mind that it sold for $15 at retail, since a figure like that would cost $25 now, easily.

The craziest thing about this figure is he ended up on clearance at Toys "R" Us for like $10 at some point along the way.

I own 12. :shifty:

And yeah, Lance, Sigma 6 doesn't get the credit it deserves for being the awesome toyline it was. Yeah, it wasn't 4", but they were balls out awesome anyway, and anyone who loves the Pursuit of Cobra and 30th Anniversary should bow down and kiss the feet of Sigma 6 for lending so many awesome design elements to G.I. Joe that can now be done in a 4" scale because of the technical advancements of the past few years.

Great, GREAT toyline.

Attached pictures of my collection. :)

Long Range was awesome, a totally kick ass new character that made me very happy. The 1:18th version was only maybe 2% as cool as the trenchcoated, mutton chopped, sniper rifle toting 8" version.

I agree that the whole S6 Firefly story and the figures based on him were fu'ing amazing. I LOVED IT. So refreshing and so very interesting! Man, I miss that spin on FF.

Yeah Sigma 6 had a whole lot of super win contained in the oversized toyline.

I loved Sigma Six and thought they were great. I've downsized some of my collection, getting rid of some of the New Sculpt era figures, but the S6 stuff always stays along for the ride, even though it takes up more space.

After it got going, I liked Sigma 6. It was kind of like the 25th Anniversary figures at first with that ugly chest joint. Just like that chest joint got better, Sigma 6 got better. I liked the first wave but the later waves really were great. They were fun figures. I think they could still be around today if Hasbro had supported the line. But like everything they've been coming out with, they only halfheartedly support their products, They're relying more on brand name recognition and not on full on ad campaigns.

For the longest time my only Sigma Six figure was the first Snake-Eyes.
It didn't leave much of an impression on me. The knife sheath was clunky, the sword sheaths didn't really fit well in the holes in the back... I liked some features like the interchangeable eyewear and the uzi but overall... it didn't seem worth its price tags.

But just recently I picked up the Soldier class Crossbow Storm Shadow... and WOW that is a fun, fun, fun toy. Just the right amount of accessories, fun gimmick and some really clever weapons included with that figure.

I don't know what the general concensus on that figure is, but I really love everything about it. If Hasbro ever does a 4" homage to it, I will buy the ever-loving hell out of it.
(just wish the loose one I bought wasn't missing one of its larger hand-mounted claws)

I liked the story line and the cartoon, when it wasn't on reruns after 5 episodes.
Great cast of popular characters too. I like that anime take on GI Joe.
The toys were cool, but the scale wasn't my cup of tea. The designs applied in 1/18 would've rocked.

S6 could've been big, but Hasbro doesn't really care about specific brands anymore. They simply want to have products in every house. They don't care if people buy Monopoly, Transformers, GI Joe or whatever brand they own.

that Scarlett needs to be shrunk down to about half her size and made the next Scarlett figure for the 3 3/4 inch scale. I would never collect any of those figures boy, they really are a cool looking bunch. It would be a great thing at Hasbro were to decide to take those character design and shrink them down.
