Oh snap, I saw the head band and just assumed that was a new head. Stupid yellow plastic. Still, my
Point that it isn't a crazy leap to think Budo was coming at some point.

I do believe :budo: will be in FSS 2.0.

Nah, Hasbro'll probably salvage him for a Retaliation 3-pack.

I'd be fine with never getting that figure, and I definitely don't want to see that figure in the FSS for a collector premium price.

Well I never wanted :doc: :sgtslaughter: :zarana: :jinx: :dialtone: :footloose: Blades, Manleh, Redmack, Shimik, Topson, :daina: Horrorshow, Brekhov, Schrage, Stormavik, :voltar: :darklon: Sgt Major, Steel Cobra, :claymore: :televiper2: :pythonofficer: Lightning, Trigger, Sparta, MB Mainframe, MB Leatherneck, MB Dial-tone, Dr. Venom, :covergirl: :topside: :dice: TNT, Quarrel, :grunt2: :iceberg: :bigbear: :bigben: :falcon2: to be collector premium prices. :-(

True, but at least many of those figures are characters collectors might want but probably wouldn't do well at retail. That Budo wouldn't be a good representation of the character IMO (it shares about as much in common with the classic character as any of the JvC/VvV versions of Frostbite did with the 1985 version) and probably isn't something even most collectors would want for more than the retail price of the 2-pack.

I dunno, is it really any different from Topside basically looking like a grey-pantsed Shipwreck? Or whatever the hell they were thinking with Barrel Roll?

Topside is recognizable as who he's supposed to be. Barrel Roll is as well, it just happens to be the version most people aren't familiar with.

That's kinda what I'm getting at. A Budo made out of Samurai Storm Shadow is really no different from Topside or Barrel Roll in terms of recognizability.
