It didn't HAVE to be crap.

I do believe it's one of the vehicles actually in the film... but IIRC it didn't look this crappy in the trailers.

The Tread Ripper is meant to represent the Ripsaw from the movie. Obviously it's not going to be a 100% match to the actual vehicle since it largely uses the HISS Scout as a base.

I do not see the appeal in this hiss scout thing. It looked dumb as a cobra vehicle and worse off as a joe one. Clutch looks good, but it's not worth 20 bucks for head sculpt imo.

Sorry I broke my promise. My internet, well phone line really, went bonkers over the weekend. NFC's pics are better than mine anyway haha. The open part of the roll cage in the front is my main complaint. That, and Clutch has an awesome head on a terrible body.

I don't have it off-hand, but it's exactly the same as for the HISS tank and the GI Joe jet plane, GHOSTHAWK II, I think.

Remember back in the Gen2 (VvV) days when we got unannounced "fixed" versions of the Action Attack figures? I really hope we get a fixed Clutch. That figure would work great as an updated Rock&Roll or even a generic PMC.
