Nah, I'm doubting that. None of the previous SDCC items have been at any discount outlet. Only 7 pack online store exclusives. The Dreadnok pack being the latest.

And that is an example of the BS with scalpers and SDCC. Production numbers too. There was a Zanya in that set but yet it's not getting hammered. But then who knows what the production numbers were and what they are with SDCC. Hype, production numbers, and how many scalpers line up go hand in hand.

I was constantly rechecking on my phone. I missed out. No surprise there. I hope the movie Jinx is cool. Really wanted the red Jinx and MoE set.

Is it just me, or are more and more "core" figures for lack of a better word, winding up as exclusives? Besides Jinx, there's Zarana, Sgt. Slaughter, Footloose, Dial-Tone, etc.
And let's not get started on the whole Renegades Storm Shadow issue, to say nothing of other figures like Low Light, or the Cycle armor/Scout Hiss fiasco.
There's something very wrong when you can only get certain figures in case sets or through scalpers. And for good parts of the country that's the only way. There is no retail presence. Hasbro doesn't care because their merchandise was sold. So they have no incentive to fix anything. Yet many fans can't get product. This is why I said before its not fun anymore.

Over all I'm not so concerned over Jinx. The club has a Jinx that I actually like better coming out that will be easier to get. There is a movie version that looks good too. The Rock says it best about how stuff can be shined up and turned sideways...

The HISS is something I wanted most of these. Even there however it's just 1 item. I can bend over and take it if I really want it. As usually scalpers everywhere bought up most of the stock. I can keep checking every so often for a decent deal and just pay a stupid scalper.

I'm just more in the not understanding these companies with exclusives. People say it offers exposure, but looking at Ebay, the majority of people that seem to get exclusives is scalpers. People tried to use that idea when the He-Man figures kept selling out and they ended up on Ebay. Look at where they are now... no different than they were. Figures aren't in store, not any more popular than they were, actually through the admittance of Toyguru the subscriptions are down. I mean, it just doesn't seem like it benefits anybody but scalpers now.

But anyway it's not something that isn't going to make me stop collecting. I'm going to complain and make my posts, but it's not as big of a deal really. More of a stupid situation and really not worth the time making all these posts, but over all you tend to want to blow off steam even though some people hate when others feel the need to complain.

thats what im always telling people, whent eh 25th line stopped there were only about 5 or 6 figures i really wanted that didnt make it ito that line. since then they have made 4 of those figures and they have all been exclusives. not only that but they have only made 5 or 6 figures i have even wanted in the last 4 years or so and all of them except one have been exclusives.

I still can't believe that the Jem doll priced at $124.99 sold out just as fast as the 3 3/4 inch Jinxes did, now everything is SOLD OUT !

I hope that Hasbro takes notice at these sales, so that they will produce what they call low sales figures and vehicles, so to Hasbro, produce the stuff your company didn't think would sell.

Picked up a Derpy Pony for Amanda. She said she didn't want one but I know deep down she really does.

Both Jinx figures and the HISS are gone again. Jem never was in stock again. They lasted around 12 minutes or so.

These were probably leftover from a second count after yesterdays sales and any cancellations due to ordering over the limit or card declines.

This. I remember this is how I got Zarana last year. Too many folks were ordering too many toys.

They tried to tell me yesterday that i had owed HTS.com $26.34 from a order placed in 2008 and that they was going to hold my order for 10 days, if i didn't send them the money they was going to cancell my order.

So i called PAYPAL and they brought up my payment, then i called Hasbro customer service and spoke with a supervisor, she dug into the matter and told me the matter was recified and settled in 2010, she then released my order and apologized 4 times for their mistake, makes me wonder if this happened to anybody else on a similar matter ???

I mean c'mon, a mixup that happened 4 years ago and they wasn't going to give me my order ?!? Very discouraging on HTS.com and Hasbro's part, they need to correct their system, i ordered frequent orders from 2008 to 2012 and NEVER was this brought up until the SDCC 2012 exclusives hit the store.
