If they sell them online at some point I'll bite. If this is Con only sorry, not interested.

That Central Power battery playset is AWESOME! I hope it sees the light of day.

Agree with the P-man. I can justify a little bit of a price hike for an on-line line. Not $20 each like the MOTU for a 4 inch figure. Be our luck we'd never see the main players only C and D listers.

Same here. I am getting a little tired of seeing major characters being released as con-only exclusives. Means I have far less incentive to collect a line if it appears at reatail if there are characters missing that I can only get at hyper-inflated scalper prices, if at all.

This would make me happy. That way I won't have to hunt them down.
It's selfish, I know, but hey, come on, they started it with their con exclusive scale.

I like how :verymad: we "sound" and the line isn't even out yet.

The thing is, for once, almost everybody is praising the look of the figures. Sculpting, paint, articulation are not the issues here. It is the announced distribution policy that is causing the anger. If tthey were no 'con-only' then there would be a lot of excitement.

Aaaaannnnd boom goes the dynamite. I've been hoping for something to replace the Infinite Heroes line, and they're con exclusives. DC Collectibles just saved me a ton of money.

The Oa playset is the old Kenner Super Powers design but with modern sculpting.

Oh god...the pictures from SDCC are beautiful. Really, really nice-looking figures. And that Oa playset looks even better upon closer inspection.

It's going to be hard to resist the impulse to track these down if they really are going to be convention-only items. I've always wanted a 3 3/4" GL line (that doesn't suck).

Holy "LASER BLAST"! One wish granted in John Stewart and it's gonna be nigh impossible to get, no matter which con it's released at.

I find it interesting that they give the Comic Shop Locater info on the back of the box in that pic. That could mean something more beyond the fact that DCD is essentially a Diamond-only company and that there are plans to get these out thru comic shops.

I can't imagine they're serious about trying to sell these solely at comic conventions. The attendance ratio to the possible market share is laughably small. Might as well sell them thru Target but only to French albinos.
