The local Wally World hasn't had any new GIJOE on the shelves in months, but they have a space marked $6.97

Target on the other hand, just got the new figures after Valentine's Day, at $8.99.

On one trip I got Airtight, Renegade Scarlett, Renegade Ripcord, Renegade Tunnel Rat, and Law & Order. They had signs all over about having the lowest prices, but wouldn't match Wal-Marts every day low price. They wanted me to bring in an ad. Right! Bring in an ad for something that isn't on sale, so it wouldn't even be in an ad...

I only grabbed them because I hadn't seen them anywhere else.

Another trip got me a Cobra Trooper and a Zombie-Viper.

A third trip netted Sci-Fi and a Techno-Viper.

I kept them in my car in case I found them elsewhere at a lower price.

Last week I happened to find an eBay seller that had Scarletts for $2.95, Ripcords for $2.95, and Tunnel Rats for $3.39.

After doing some math I went ahead and got 6 Scarletts, 2 Ripcords, and a Tunnel Rat.

Took the three I had gotten already back to Target last night.

Today I got the package and found out my order got mixed up, giving me 2 Tunnel Rats and a single Ripcord.

I contacted the seller, who immediately told me to keep the extra Tunnel Rat and he/she would be sending out the correct figure tomorrow.

So basically I got 10 new GIJOE figures shipped for just over $36.

I told the seller I wasn't upset. The situation is being corrected and I'm getting an extra figure I debated about getting a second of anyway.

Thats why you take the paper tag out of the walmart price... I took the one off of a price at Target once to get Walmart to match it which they did after they laughed that I bought in the shelf tag...

I did the same thing, Target and Kohls price matched for me, no problem, but Target kinda laughed and said, please don't do that here, ask us and if we can, we'll print you a tag.

With Targets universal DCPI #, you should have bought extras of the figures and returned them with the receipt you got Law&order from. If they questioned you, you could have said, "You wouldn't price match them, I found them cheaper, so here, you can have your expensive figures back".

Yeah, they're not going to price match based on your word alone. You have to have physical proof to back it up.

Fyi. Customer service will call a competitors store to verify pricing. I do it all the time between Lowes and Home Depot. They say to bring an ad in I tell them to call and they do.

I saw some of the crimson HISS tanks at TRU some weeks ago but that's about it. The local CVS has the hazard viper but I actually don't really want it.

TRU got in Some renegades, but I didn't have the cash at the time. now all they have is 3 renegades Ripcords. Wal-mart has a shelf tag, thats it. Target on the other hand, has Artic Destros for $8.99
